Cabby who hit Bangladeshi worker at manhole still not found

The cabby involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Jalan Eunos last December has still not been found. Bangladeshi construction worker Md Abdul Hannan Md Maham Ali, 26, was supervising other workers who were laying underground cables along the road at about 5am on Dec 2 last year when a Toyota Crown taxi hit him and fled.
He suffered serious head injuries and died about an hour later in hospital. During a coroner's inquest into his death in March, the court heard that when the workers had some difficulty in pulling the cables through the manholes, Mr Abdul Hannan told them to move to another manhole while he stayed behind.
A while later, Mr Abdul Hannan was struck by the taxi which sped from the scene. Investigators traced the cab to taxi company Premier. Over 100 taxis were inspected but none was found to have suspicious bumps or scratches.
On Friday, State Coroner Imran Abdul Hamid expressed concern as to the identity of the driver and the inability to ascertain who he was. He urged the person to come forward and explain his version of what happened that morning, saying the deceased was someone's brother and son.

Smlj? This 1 is police useless one, cannot investigate cases properly. Cannot be premier like that, check all taxis nothing. Must be another company, maybe transcab or cumfuk. Transcab got advert grey colour right ot not? See chief do his own analyse can figure it out, the police useless lor. Anyway premier drivers all got standard especially now chief and Rsm drive for the company. Very high standards.

Sad it might be, this morning just saw a few bangalas standing outside and waving for taxis at T2 arrival, knn...warden bo yew them, very dangerous hor, especially those kanchiong driver chiong down to pick paxs.
