Cause it's a old model.
They don't sell them ANYMORE (new models).
Reason being Sandisk pulled out of the asian market for their mp3 player for the NEW models. So it's released outside of asia (usa and such)
U can ask/read around for urself, they don't have and won't be releasing the new model Sandisk Clip + in singapore.
Older ones released years back is different story.
