I dun noe wat the VERIFIED means, but I have been stopped at the following locations for spot checks:
MacKenzie Road - This is a side road that goes behind Boon Siew Honda. Drivers comming from Selegie Road turning onto Bukit Timah Road often use this road. It's the left turn just before Bukit Timah Road. This was in the middle of the day!
Rebublic Boulevard - This is the road going from Suntec City to the ECP. As you pass between Pan Pacific Hotel and Marina Square keep heading straight and you have to take the left fork to join Ophir Road to go up Shears Bridge. Just after the left fork, when you got no way to escape, you will see the blue flashing lights. Police like to check here because of the number of hotels in the vicinity. If you have had 2 glasses of beer or more, avoid this stretch. They start checking as early as 9pm. Drink drivers will be handcuffed and taken away - NO JOKE!

yah..but the thing is that if everyone is travelling at 50km/h, wunit be very slow? y TP cannot understand that if a road is clear, like in the midnight, driving at a higher speed than the speed limit (eg 70km/h at a 50km/h road) wun do any harm? not that we are racing or wat, but sometimes it is human nature to drive a little bit faster when driving on a road where there’s lesser car?

I guess its to lessen any possible accidents that might happen; even thou the road is clear
My fren was travelling along XXX to XXX on a certain night.
No cars along entire stretch, even on the other side
He was travelling rather fast
Entered the bend at approx 90.
Guess it was too late when he realised his speed
Jammed on brakes and car spun
Entire Front Bumper was gone,
Headlights Scratched
Front Rims Damaged
Back Wheels Alingment Off
Was pure luck the passenger suffered no major injuries

????.. when you enter a bend you do not jam the brakes... intermidated tapping of breaks.. or you should have braked before entering a bend... or slow down before a bend... maybe you friend jus pass his driving or something
