Failed my TP test! WTF!

Failed my 1st TP test yesterday at bbdc but the thing is I was driving perfectly fine. Even during my trial run, the instructor from bbdc said that I have a high percentage in passing. I cleared the circuit without any "mishap" but after going out doing the test route, at one point after making a u-turn, I didn't keep to the left as the test route requires me to turn right at the next junction after the u-turn but the tester just kept mum. I asked the tester if we're supposed to turn right at the junction where at this point his expression changed & said, "If you want to turn, turn lah!". I told him that this was supposed to be the correct test route in which he replied, "You must listen to me. I say where you just go!" I apologised but after looking at his face, I know I was doomed!
Back at bbdc, the tester gave me alot of excuses like my braking wasn't good enough lah, I failed to check for pedestrian (where during the test route the zebra crossing was clear from any padestrian).... blah blah blah.... Last he said was that I must improved my driving awareness & straight away tick the fail box!
Now I have to wait till Dec for my re-test just because of the one silly mistake. Hopefully I won't be getting the same tester again. If not............

it is like that one lah. Have to see their face. They have power to pass or fail as they like. People who drive steady can fail, people who drive scarily can pass. All look at their mood.
THen also they see your numberr of times. 1st time very difficult. I pass at 4th test, he see my record also like ching chai, never mark any thing on my sheet. Go out the road, then keep talking cock, then back at the centre, talk a bit more and then give me a pass. -

then those instrutor at driving centre are just trying to boost your confident sometimes.
remember my 1st try too... when nearing my tp, the intrutors all keep saying if i drive like i did for my practical sure pass, want to fail also hard. but then i failed.
and the zebra crossing part, during test, even when no people, also must stop and check for people. just to wayang wayang for them.
and the stop line, when obviously even when no car around also must stop.
the main part of the test is to wayang to the tester only.
remember the word... wayang. -
Dunno if it's true or not but heard from my instructor that this testers has a quota for passing students..... During my TP test, there's a total of 16 students taking the test but only 5 of them passed, 11 failed. Can you guys imagine in one day, there's a total of 9 TP tests. 16 students x 9 equals to about 144 students taking a test in 1 day. Out of the 144 only 45 of them passed if base on the passing quota of 5 passes in 1 TP test. If 1 TP test cost about $170 per student & 99 of them failed, that means traffic police gets about $16,830 per day & this is only based on 1 driving centre alone.
Now, if that's not easy money, I don't know what is..... -

my 1st test oso everything bery good...still fail...2confident. (Reasons - too slow & don't know hw 2overtake) Circuit road hw 2b fast??? sigh!
2nd time prepare to fail but passed. -

I think your case is you act smart la but no offence really. Honestly, I do not see the point in memorising the test route at all. Best is just listen to what the tester has to say and do according because you have to keep in mind that he calls the shots. If he keeps mum, then go straight la. If unsure, then ask to confirm and execute after confirming. Even for me, my test route was modified without my knowledge when I was on my TP. Only realised it when I got hold of the test route map.

Can u imagine when i took my Final evaluation at BBDC and i speed down bukit batok road at 100km/h after the camera ??? The instructor also said I confirm pass ... drive the instructor out to buy 4D .. have lunch with him ... sit inside car park along roadside smoke talk cock ... 1st TP also fail ...
BTW im a BBDC student too... -
you must realise that alot of the old farts have power delusions.. so you have to pander to them since there isn't an objective and fair system in place for driving tests

i oso wanna go for driving session now. BBDC okay mah? i feel like going there for it~ hmm... is there a timing which its gd to book? or is there a instructor u guys can recommend me? dunno but, i heard BBDC is better than SSDC. Dunno?

frankly speaking, i would suggest those who wanna take up driving to find a pte instructor. things at bbdc has changed so much. the so called "fixed-group" instructors now has 4-5 of them in a grp! so do u think its worth paying the extras for fixed instructors?
2ndly, if u're on the normal scheme; u get any tom dick or harry but u are paying over 55 bucks for a lesson. 3rdly, the test dates. say suay suay u failed ur test u gonna wait for mths before u can get an availabe slot. so whats the diff of going pte? my personal thoughts are going pte are more valued for money. -

Do wad i did ... speak out what you are doing .... like when you are changing to the right lane then you say 'Right clear' then changing left then 'Left clear' then at zebra crossing you say 'crossing clear' ... like this he sure know wad you are doing and thinking ...
but be prepard to hear the TP say ' Can you please keep your thoughts to yourself?' -

U fail to do that.. and now u are here.. complaining about this and that... it time to really start thinking dudex.. if u go back for the second time with the same thinking and attuitde .. i think u will fail again..
Anyway the testing has the right to change the route ... my instructer tell me dun be kpo and ask tester.. if he keep slient .. just go straight...i believe u have been brief before correct ? i have been told by countless time during my training ... -
Well i think its normal to have such experience loh... i think many others do too and as a result they failed....
Many kind of tester... its really depend on ur luck.

1st tp at bbdc 1st slot pass. must listen to intructor.altough i nv keep left and go wrong course and nv do u turn still pass coz always say sorry to intrustor and must be saftly and cuiruit 0 points to ensure ur outside still got chance.must be confident and stable

I passed mine at ssdc the first time. The tester seemed to be ok. He seemed to be inpatient when we were in the circuit. But on the road, he was quiet except when giving instructions to turn.
I think I just showed him that I can drive and I am confident of myself.
