  I personally think that supercar makers like Ferrari and Lamborghini should never step out and make salons. They should just remain with their roots and produce better supercars.

  Its just like how NFS went out of their roots and produced ProStreets and sales went down..

  But don't forget supercar makers like Porsche, Lamborghini and Aston Martin all used to have a 4-door model. And they were generally quite well received. Lamborghini wants to increase the number of cars sold to 5,000 per year. To achieve that, they need a new model and new market. And the Estoque is their key to 5,000 cars per year.
