  For me if your standard rims is 15 inch and using stock engine(No major mods)better to upgrade by just 1 or the most 2 inch only.Only for certain models like my neighbour Proton Wira 1.5 which is 13inch stock rims upgrade to 15 as 1.5cc should be no problem fitting 15incher

  Use a lower profile tyre if you upgrade the rim size.

  On my previous ride, a honda jazz, i was using 17" rims. No issue there really.

  Tested out the calculator from 15" to 16" ... results as below

  185/60R15 to 205/45R16, there will be a 2% difference on the spedo..

  The site will show you what is the actual speed you are travelling at when your speedo shows 100km/h. For the above changes, you are actually travelling at 98km/h instead of 100km/h.
