Will this be ok?
if like that really no need car liao.
That map is really scary.
This one got WAY more stations that New York.
Got 1 station every 7km2 of every area of Singapore liao (Including the other Islands ie.Pulau Ubin & Tekong)
wow..
i doubt that will happen but if it does, as long as train frequency is ok then it shouldn't be a prob..
But for this kind of transport system, you need to pay double the fares.... good deal? Or no deal?
Wait Long LOng
Confirm SMRT would say 'Svcs 172 & 190 would be withdrawn due to duplication of MRT lines'. lol

I sense a Major Bus Rationalisation
OMG, Singapore seems to look like swiss cheese if it really goes like this.
the BLE open house at pioneer MRT which got gallery to showcase their transport system, they gt display a map and MRT line with different colours, and can let u press the button to flash the colour.
O.O..
maybe the Black line right.. should go to Sultanah Aminah Hospital, Danga Bay & Kempas on the left side of the line after Johor Bahry Sentral, den on the right, must go to Sultan Iskandar CIQ Checkpoint..=D
the Holland line for sure make my favourite service 174 and 502 withdrawn....
if this MRT line approved , SBST n SMRT svc will be withdrawn

Ya JB Svc n townlinks too
liddat got more rail operators.. hahaha..
can call fat controller from sodor island to operate one of the lines...
I dont mind if this was a Tram network..
As for trains.....
I dont think i want a system like this..
Bus is still better in some cases..

I think LTA should start giving out tenders for new high speed lines directly parallel to EW Line. Something like what the Japs do. Limited Express stops. For example, EW HSLine goes PRis - Tpines - Bedok - Bugis - City Hall - Raffles Place - Clementi - JEast - BLay - Pioneer - Joo Koon. Have dedicated HS track and HS Trainsets to do 150kmph but will utilise current stations. Then will solve a lot of prob along EW Line.

161 and 168 is far more better than this MRT line. More faster to get to the eastern side of the island rather than these cheese pie MRT.

Just imagine this happens by 2040. Foreigners come to Singapore. At Changi Airport they look at the crazy system. You think they will know where to go? I think even Singaporeans will get gobsmacked over this lah. Here there here there...
Then again, Singapore is diamond shaped(we can't change that). But having more than 20 MRT lines in our masterplan is mindboggling... Even Tokyo Metropolitan City is not creating more lines intra Tokyo. And Singapore is obviously smaller than Tokyo. If this happens in the future I think Singapore will have more subway lines than Tokyo or London. I think you people get what I mean rite?
Another fake map, but less clustered...
with the current lines we already have, even Singaporeans can't find their way around this country.

education will have to solve that
