Well ... I thought to start up a thread where everyone can post nice pictures of their current location, or pics from places where you've been overseas ...

so get on with it peeps ! ...

Ah, shoot. I'll start things rolling. I've posted these images before in one of the "Club 30" fora, but this forum seems more appropriate for them.

It was my birthday, so the Brisbane City Council decided to put up a short fireworks show for me to view from my 33rd floor apartment balcony.

Here are some pics that I took before winter,

the first three pics are from a climbing/hiking trip to Mount Seymour, British Columbia, in late autumn last year, It the two alpine tarns are near the summit, taken when we were descending, with the night fast approaching,
second pic was snapped as we were descending from the second peak, the shadows are long as you can see ...

fourth pic was snapped around sunset at a canola field a few hours north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan,

The last one is a pic showing why Saskatoon is also called the "city of bridges" .... more coming up soon ... let's make this a kick ass thread ! ...

it was in late autumn ... beautiful weather, no wind, temp around 20-22' celcius or so .... we went up in trekking shorts and boots ...

Very beautiful pics, Fatum. I never get those when I was living in BC.

The other pics were lovely too. Pics of TO? Alamak, boh leh. Okay, I go dig up my collections, okay?

resizing pics will cause slight blurness at the corners of some shapes in the photos

Oh, Fatum......but it has been nice in TO? We got some rain but that's about it. In fact, we are on the plus side this morning and will be for the rest of the day.

Your immediate neighbour is Winnipeg, right? Well, she is cold! And so is your west side neighbour but I envy you, 'cos you get to drive up to Banff, Lake Louise and all that. I've lived here so long, I've never been!
