Recently i just scanned my system with the Windows Vista Upgrade advisor, and it tells me that my NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT graphics card will not work with vista. I have checked out the product at the website, but it confirms that it is vista-ready. My graphics card model is GV-N94TOC-1GH, website is at http://www.giga-byte.com/Products/VGA/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2927
Please advise why is this so.
Card is supported, but drivers are not.
Update drivers.
edit: add more info
you can install vista except that vista do not have the driver for your graphic card.
after installing vista you may install the driver after you had download it from the website.
It will work, so no problem. Vista should come with the WDDM driver model IIRC.
OT: Why the website say 216 Stream Processors lol? I know only got 16.
Drivers are updated to the latest ones, but it doesn't make any difference. Display works fine in vista, except without the special effects that make vista cool. its damn irritating to see the com rating drop to 1.0 just because of the graphics card.
I'm using a ASUS P5Q motherboard, E8400 3.0Ghz core 2 duo, 4gb ram with a 550W PSU.

Well, SP1 allows you to use 4GB of RAM. Used to be 3.25. Are you even using Vista SP1?
