I have intermittent internet connection; the internet light and the DSL light often go off and slowly the DSL light starts blinking and connection is regained for a few minutes before the whole thing repeats itself.
I have called singtel tech support, and have installed microfilters but still the problem persists on.
I am baffled by this problem, where does the problem lie? Btw i am using the speedtouch modem, and is under the singtel mio 6 mbps plan.
Though i m not a red pipe user.

I'm sharing the same problem. But since this matter isn't too irritating for me I didn't contact tech help. I'm just living with it, and also got another M1 line, which is working smoothly.
I experienced the same problem with my 2Wire modem, Singtel tech support told me to exchange with them for a new one. You can try calling singtel tech support and tell them about it.
I had a similar issue a year or two ago. After asking their tech support to come down a few times, they suggested to do a re-cabling for $50. Ever since it was re-cabled, my connection has been pretty stable up till now (still using the same old Speedtouch).
Maybe TS can try using MIO plan instead?
