Hi guys,
As you may aware that M1 is offering their new fibre broadband plan for download speed of 100Mbps with an upload of 50Mbps, they are charging $59 as compared to Starhub Maxinfinity Ultimate, their pricing is much higher with the same speed plan at $68.27.
Currently i'm on Maxonline Premium, should i switch over to M1 just becos its $9 cheaper p/m or should i stick with the same operator with a new plan.
BTW do you happen to know what is the international bandwidth for M1 plan ? Starhub is 15Mbps.
Never tried M1 broadband before so not too sure how's their internet performance, my current Starhub speed always slowed to a snail and its damn frustrating, not once but very often and need to call them up all the time.
Customers of this fixed broadband service will connect to M1 broadband via StarHub Cable's open access network.

So if Starhub slow, M1 probably even slower.
Anyway this bb haven started lor , i went to the it show enthusiatically but end up being told that i have to pre-register to let starhub scan through the list then decide . So in the meantime i also don't know if i should sign my current maxonline or pre-register for the fibre bb . Also they never say when will the fibre optic bb be officially launched . Anyway bb stand for broadband .
What if Singtel offers the same speed plan but at $78.72, would you choose M1, starhub, or singtel?
this is oni between the red and green
dun bother looking at orange
which is why they are offering low prices to attract.
go to http://rollout.opennet.com.sg/ and check out if you are ready for fibre...
m1 offering the best deal for now with the hp notebook freebie....
i think you should have a look at this plan before thinking about M1 or starhub.
AFTER ALL, they are the one who provides the service.
There is a $200 one time charge that might turn some people off. But wow, they offer IPv6.
I guess all subscribers should hang on with their present package.
There are bound to be lots of bugs for them to straighten out before the system can be fully trouble free.
So, from the past initial start-up of the red line, hiccups will be expected.
Therefore, it is better to wait till a later date when all issues are fixed and addressed.
That is why they have 3 month testing period for you to test the system out for them.

True, common people should wait for 10 more years before moving to fibre and then congesting the fibre broadband network.
Imagine how much they could've saved after 10 years, should be able to make them very happy.
