Not so sure abt nanyang as I missed their open house. Reali unsure. Can anyone experience help me out here! So stress!!!
NYJC!! i have a really good impression of NYJC. talked to the principal and he is really down to earth and communicates witht he students. in fact a lot of students like him as well! for example, on the first day of school last year, he stood outside the school to give out newspapers and even went to give out apples personally for night study! :D culture there is really good, people are generally friendly too (: too bad i didn't manage to meet the cop if not i will definately go there! do factor in the travel time as well for the 2 schools (:

I want to take Computer engineering or IT course in poly.
Only problem is i not sure which to take.
Computer engineering focus both on hard and software while IT only software.
Both appeal to me, hence can anybody tell me which is better (In your own opinion), be it job prospect or difficulty etc.
And is NP or SP better for such courses?
Much appreciated!

Hey guys im really stuck as to whether i should study biology...
I don't take biology in sec sch and only take pure chem and pure physics, but the problem is I don't like physics and i wish to pursue a career in life science or pharmacy. I just got my O level results and my L1R5 is 10. Chem - A1 and Physics - A2
I went to MJC open house yesterday and they said they don't allow students who never took bio in O lvl to take H2 bio. I'm pretty sad because I wanna take H2 bio...
People have said O lvl bio is not a pre-requisite to take H2 bio but i wanna know which JCs allow that? Or do i have to appeal?
Don't think anyone is in a same situation as me, but if you know JCs that allow this, please reply thank you.
Or else i will either study H1 physics or take biomedical in sp/np.

Hey AlwaysHungry,
I'm also thinking about that haha...but it seems to me that sp's biomedical syllabus is more rigorous than np's, as in maybe you need to mug more.
Both equally good la i think

Yup, i just saw all the modules in biomedical is SP and compared it to NP. They certainly had alot of modules and it seemed complicated too.I will probably will have to do alot of mugging to maintain my GPA.
And guys, my L1R4 is 7. What are my chances of entering biomedical in SP( 8points) and NP(9 points). Thank You.

Hi Guys , I scored a raw score of 8 , English , A Math , CH , Geo A1 and Chem, Phy, E Math and MT A2 .CCa can - 2pts
I want to take 4H2 combi of Maths , Geog , Chem and Econs. I don't think its the norm and I'm more inclined towards the humans subjects. Choosing between Anderson ( Gives it as a combi ) and ACJC ( heard their combi veri flexible) .
I heard distance is also pivotal and I live in TPY North near Braddell MRT. Would AC be too far?
Which one would you guys say is a better choice?
