all i know is that:
- EL/HCL as L1
-as long as u'r in HCL course
and passed EL & HCL therll be bonus 2 pt
-either CL/HCL only
the 3rd one means tat jus in case the result turn out tat im better with CL than be in HCL course, then perhaps request 'drop' to CL
L1 u can use Eng or HCL
if u have used HCL for L1, you cannot use the normal CL in one of the R5
yep, that is like the 1st and 3rd rule i know so far..
here's other details of my upcoming o'lvl result which could turn out 4 ways:
1 L1-EL (2 bonuspt cuz of hcl course)
2 L1-HCL (2 bonuspt cuz of hcl course)
3 L1-EL...R5-HCL (2 bonuspt cuz of hcl course)
4 L1-EL...R5-CL (fall back to the common one)
questning one is #3 D:
if u use EL as L1, HCL cannot be in your R5
but you can still use the HCL results for the "bonus points"
Theoretically, a student can have a maximum of 6 bonus points (for a student who has been selected for the CLEP or MLEP) ie a student who have scored 6 A1s including an A1 for EL1 will get zero point after the deduction of the maximum 6 points
Please see the URL link http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/jae/files/jae-info.pdf
i tot the max "bonus points" to be used (i would not use the word deducted) is 4, regardless how much u can accumulate from HMT, LEP/MEP/AEP and CCA and affiliation
changed liao?
Please refer to page 4 of the MOE JAE 2013 booklet at http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/jae/files/jae-info.pdf
Theoretically, the maximum bonus points are 6 points now.
they will always use the combination with the lower point. lets say HCL as L1 u got a lower point, then they will use that. If EL1 plus CL2 u got a lower point, then they will use that.
Last time me HCL as L1 combination and EL1 CL2 combination same points....so couldnt gain an advantage. But having to say, EL1 still must pass la....and passing HCL will give u "bonus" point deduction....so just take everything....
