now i gonna to start all over again, in fact i haven't read your post above, i feel headache, but i think every great nation got it's pride, go to German, France, italy, all these civilized country, they won't say they are proud of speaking english, though they could speak, but i guess this is not the point, you learn a language is not to just communicate, not just do bussiness, you should respect it, i love english, but i never proud i can speaking english, i am chinese, i am proud of i am chinese, i know english, so i can watch hollywood movie without subtitle, i can read marx's book without translation,
It's funny, why is it know they call holy war is twisted and yet when the crusaders slaughtered muslim women and children is called the right thing? Funny...
i don't know what's your point here, there r many banch of crusader sended, yes some kill a lot muslim, take their money, prostitute their women, is it the crusader sent to fight for the Jerusalem, the holy city, i don't know much about crusader,
i love muslim brother, i think they r called terrorist, because people are looking from US point of view, but actual US kill more people than they did, but right now the world is that, who is strong militarily, who's voice matters, i just see this conflict got no when to be solved, hate will continuous gatherd in muslim brother's mind, and even their child

It really makes me sad that Li Jia Wei's marriage shows she is a typical modern china woman looking for a man not for love but for materials. Once the materialistic conditions are met, who the f**k cares how long they've known each other? This happens as something taken for granted especially to those women over 25. They call this philosophy "realism". It's very common in china nowadays that when a girl approaches near 26, she rushes to marry whatever man as long as he has a certain amount of money. If she still dreams about love, she'll be afraid that she's getting too old to wait for it. Then who can resist someone like Li Jia Wei's husband-to-be that is considered as a billionaire?
I've had contacted quite a lot of china girls and disappointedly conclude that many of them can not love. They only want to be loved but don't want to give anything. True, they give their bodies, but an adult male can find that stuff in prostitutes as well. Believe me. In china sometimes it's much more economically profitable to find a whore than to have a wife, since whoever you choose you have to pay, and a whore is much less demanding than a spoiled heartless "princess". Surely, there are counterexamples.
But of course, we should not point all our fingers to china women only. Scientists found that all the women around the world are born to love materials, even in the most developed countries. Now that you singaporeans are blaming china women, but in nature your girls are materialistic too. The difference is that singapore is a richer country than china so it's much easier for you to satisfy that easy desire so you start targeting more expensive things and don't have to look so hungry. What can chinamen do? Life in china is the least easy in the world, so sometimes people have to try all the methods. Tragedy.
And what can I do? I don't like china either but it is my homecountry.
I guess things can be much simpler if we ignore nationality. If you're strong enough, you don't really have to rely on the group behind you. You're just you as an individual.
what's the point, i believe chinese girl is less materialistic, but i don't want to cause more trouble here, china is so diversed, i think maybe shanghai girl is materislistic, maybe more developed, more materialistic,
People keep suggesting that she'd go back to China. I don't think so.
You think, after leaving her homeland for money, the Chinese would still want her? I have no doubt many in China were shouting criticisms at her during the Olympics finals. She'd be labelled a traitor there.

Again, u hv to understand that all women are materialistic, with the only difference in what they target.

That is true. she's really worth some sympathy since in singapore she's disliked and in china she is too.
But if she gets married in china ppl won't hate her so much. they'll turn to envy her for locating a big bank in bed.

Oh yea, living in the past... Who cares where we come from? You are just one of those ppl who wants to get recognition from what your ancestors did... You did nothing and yet you claim as if you did something big... Go and have some balls and be a man....
I have my own unique culture and cultures change... Look at China itself imperialism changed to communism then to capitalism... Things change and yet you say as if it is still the same as 3000 years ago...
Oh really? How come so many singapore, US, malaysian, indonesian and many more overseas Chinese despise the China Chinese ? And you would still say that they are proud...
Of course I can't ignore China... They products are dangerous, just beware when I want to buy stuff, and see it is made in China, i make sure that I don't touch them... You don't know where this Cheena stuff came from and so many are dangerous, even the food... And with such lack of morals you want to claim that oversease chinese are proud of China?

interesting, i tell you the way chinese living in china, is not changed, the enviorment changed, but not the people, chinese, still like the ancestor, 4 limbs, yes they are educated about science philosophy, a lot of them from west, but the filial family value is not changed, in china if you don't respect elder, and make self discipline, you will be viewed as odd, yes, modern chinese generation have been spoiled, because they are only child, singaporean compare to them, is more mature, but the X or Y generation can not represent chinese, even the scholar from china in singapore cannot fully represent chinese, there is a saying in chinese,人伦日用而知,the morality you practice everyday, but you may not fully know it, at least many number of chinese people at my age, is history fun, philosophy fun, name anything, there will be some expert in the area, even me i cannot represent china,
besides ordinary chinese people embrace relationship, marriage, brotherhood, a lot, for chinese scholar, there is a rich heritage inherited from our ancestor, i can tell you there are hundreds of thousand of scripture, about chinese culture passed down, the india culture maybe written down in srikrit, mainly used among brahman in the social caste, but the language dissapear now, because culture break down, and invasion,
chinese, now still can read the original scripture in ancient time, china's policty is not pracmatic, as chinese culture, middle way think, balance, the president Hu, revert to harmony again, this harmony policy have not been emphasize by his precedent, after 1949 till prior to president Hu period, china is completely westernized, even communism is west theory, but china will never just adhere to one policy unchanged, i believe, china will never abandon chines legacy, that's what make chinese like today, GDP is not china's first concern the first concern is the stability, and peacefull rise, just like chinese people, not all chasing-money animal, majority of chinese people are nice.

During the olympic time, i didn't sense such atmosphere, what most chinese feel is don't care, because there r so many chinese talent going overseas starting from china's republic period, but i think china is never short of talent, just like the earth is still revolving, without any people.

i tell you no body labell them traitor, maybe some foolish china guy, there are too many chinese player play for other country, totally understandable, because if they were in china, they never get a chance to represent china play for Olympics, so understandable, as long as if he or she don't forget where they come from

The guy who is going to wear Susilo's old shoes is Mr Li Hou Lin, mid 30's, quite good looking and filthy rich. Never mind if he is a divorcee. Playing this guy's balls will be easier to get rich, than chasing after the damn tt ball.
Best wishes to both of them. Hope it last.
There you go....end of the story.
