Was just invited to a new hidden find at Wessex Estate along Portsdown Road - Pietrasanta - The Italian Restaurant is opened by Jennifer Tan and her husband, Loris Massimini, owners of La Pazzaiola along Holland Drive.
One of the things I like about this place is the simplicity of the
décor and furnishing. Diners have a choice of sitting in the spacious
dinning area inside or dine al fresco outside the courtyard.
Does anyone else have any interesting hidden find to share?
Have you tried COLBAR @ Wessex Lane too @ Portsdown Road...its a historical place...next to Temasek Club...Simple but awesome food...ang mohs love to patronize that area...recommend their curry and steak. And their Spaghetti on Toast is unique!
Colbar is a waste of money IMHO. Ate there a few times. The uncle not friendly also.

Tucked in the corner of the eclectic Haji Lane, there lies a café in a simply refurbished shophouse that you may seek harmony, peacefulness and bliss within the confines - Going Om.
It is a café with a western subculture concept of New Age, where besides food, fun and activities (Flow toys performers e.g. movement artists, spinners, twirlers, circus freaks, martial artists, jugglers, object manipulators gather every Thursday nights), patrons can also get to indulge in intuitive card readings, crystal healing and meditation classes, the latter to be held every Sunday evening at 7pm where one can learn to focus on visualisation and manifestation techniques amongst other skills.
Do give their homemade desserts a try - I personally like their Apple and Pear Crumble.
You can view all the photos and read the full review here.

passed by many times........ But from outside like does not look attractive leh
maybe bcos the plants lah...............haha~
Yes you are right.
I think the owner intended it to be this way. Hidden away from the mainstream - it isn't your posh cafe, that's what I like about it - very simple, very cosy, very homely.
So Have You Gone Om Yet?! Heh

then i move away bcos i tot so many plants, later got some insect come make fren with me then how.......
Well, it is air-conditioned on the 2nd storey, so you can make your way up after you are done smoking... ;)
