A few days ago I bought a small tube of ice cream from the supermarket........but I didnt enjoy it very much.....it was a bit strange....because I felt thirsty after that......and the feeling of thirst could not be quenched no matter how much I drink.........
Anyways, do you have any favourite ice cream ?
Please let me know what ice cream is the most impressive that you like so far.....
my favourite would be haagen-dazs..

used to love only HD, now i oso dun mind BJ
New Zealand Natural ice cream taste delicious. yummy
Buddy, unquenchable thirst is a symptom of diabetes. Do get it checked out if it continues. Anw, go get the soybean ice-cream from mr bean, healthier choice for you.
I like HD, BJ, Walls, Magnolia, Nestle and many more
ice cream with bread from the metal box beside the motorcycle is always good!
I lub red bean!!
There is no best ice cream, there are only memorable ones, the type you eat only once, but remember forever. For me, Cold Rock.
memorable ice cream ar...
err... got one day, me pocket left with only $20 for that week. I chose to spend it and buy HD and eat it with my SO. I think it's very memorable cos that's the only money left in my pocket at that time.
Most memorable would be this!
Whenever we get them in the fridge, it would be gone in like a day. or if we got the assorted flavours. All the other flavours will still remain there untouched except the 2 red beans
or .. the rain bow ice cream! used to be 60 cents / 80 cents at your neighbour hood mamashop! Yum! Sometimes i just like to let it melt and drink it all up (it will become a blue colour syrup) *Slurppppp*
make your own Ice cream if u wan the best
My favourite is : Caramel, Chocolate, Strawberry, and ice-creamy girls XD
Teh Terik, Pulot Hitam, Tiger Beer – they may seem like items you get from your local coffee shop, but these homegrown delights are making their way into ice cream flavours, standing side-by-side with Rocky Road, Macadamia Nut and the classic Vanilla. Asian-inspired flavours are gaining prominence in the ice cream scene, more so among the independently-owned ice cream parlours.
Stanley Kwok, owner of Island Creamery, known for its offering of local ice cream flavours, comments, “The variety of local flavours has widened quite a lot in the past few years and there is much more creativity in the ice cream which customers find interesting. These days, local ice cream flavours are also better made.”
“Singaporeans are very familiar with Asian flavours and take to them easily,” comments David Yin, co-owner of ice cream joint Udders.
“Local flavours are great and I have been eating them since my childhood days. Whenever there was an ice cream man selling these traditional flavours downstairs my block, my whole family will go and buy them. This experience adds to my love of local ice cream flavours,” says Tan Seow Peng, 21, whose favourite flavours include yam and red bean.
If you remember those Potong popsicles (known for its corn, red bean, durian, coconut and jackfruit flavours, among others), many key players like Kings and Nestle have repackaged Potong ice-cream, stamping it with their own branding. This is proof of the confidence the market has with traditional ice-cream flavours and of its staying power.
Although local and Asian-inspired flavours are gaining popularity, however, it’s not likely they will overtake the classic flavours any time soon, as there are still many Ice cream purists around.
“I think some of these local flavours are too experimental for my taste. I stick to classics like Rum and Rasin but I do enjoy local fruit flavours like mango and durian,” says Charlotte Koh, 34, a self-confessed ice cream addict. She adds, “If I wanted a taste of tiger beer, I would get it in a six pack, not on a cone.”
Kwok adds, “In terms of sales, Asian-influenced flavours are probably still hovering around 30 to 40% of overall. A lot of people still like Westernised flavours such as Cookies & Cream or just plain vanilla.”
Ice cream operators do notice that it’s the older tier that lean towards local flavours. Yin says, “Our current Gila Melaka flavour (gula melaka and attap chee) is a hit with our more mature customers.” While Kwok comments, “The younger, under twelve group usually prefers Western flavours. The over 40s crowd likes local flavours. The teens and young adults are somewhere in between.”
Tell us what you think. Are you for these Asian-inspired flavours or you’ll stay faithful to the dynamic duo, Ben & Jerry’s?
Rich Chocolate, Coffee, Mocha, Rum and Raisins.
Haagen Dazs used to be my fav, now no more. My fav is Ben and Jerry, Andersens. and other ordinary brands , not Magnolia.
Andersen has the best Rum & Raisins.
Alert , people! If you do not want to eat synthetic ice cream stay away from certain flavours from Magnolia which has synthetic as the ingredient. Check the ingredients list to find out.
I was shocked to see that. Since then I have stopped eating all Magnolia ice cream. No wonder some flavours of Magnolia taste plastic to me.
I always go for MacDonald chocolate sundae. Its cheap, chocolaty tasty, convenient and can be found anywhere.
I think there is a difference between ice cream and sundae.

simi is synthetic? preservatives eh?
The bottomline is the ice cream with synthetic tastes plastic. Synthetic means artificial , made with chemical. Bad for health.

ice cream is only ice cream. Sundae is a lot of cold things (ice-cream is one of them) mixed together in a glass to form a refreshing cold dessert.
udders is pretty good.
with the waffles
tub wise...... B&J...... HD...........
