Hey all! I love Chilli Crab and could eat it every night practically but I might end up living in a box since some places charge way more for those little red monsters than others. I have seen hawker stalls in the same food centre with one charging double the price of the other. I know 'buyer beware' on long dead crabs covered in a sauce just to keep the smell down but I still believe there are good places selling chilli crab (or lemon pepper crab) at good prices. I always feel cheap asking and then having to order something different when they quote an unresonable price. I have also run across places quoting prices in different ways (per crab, per 100gram, per kilo, etc.). I am hoping this thread could become a place where Singaporeans can share their observations on neighborhood chilli crab vendors as well as the No signboards and Jumbos out there. Anyone have any recent spot market prices they are able to share?
