Is a 5-7 year age gap between a couple too big?

If let's say, a 22 years old guy have a 16 year old girlfriend or a 28 years old guy have a 21 years old girlfriend do you think that the age gap between them is too big?

I think you have to look at the maturity of the other party and how well you get along.
I had a relationship once with an 8-year gap. I never knew his age till much later and by then, had fallen in love with him liao... so I couldn't be bothered with the age gap anymore!

Girls these days looking for material things faster, the age gap is necessary. the older the guy, the more "mature" (which means financial stability) he is to her needs.

Wait till you throw in things like : 10 years age difference, the man is the younger party, the woman is divorced with 3 kids, man is of different religion than the woman, man is a poly diploma holder working in a local small company, woman is a Masters graduate working in US MNC, grandparents of the man totally oppose the union, parents of the woman tell the couple to migrate to the US to get away from it all.

i dun mind older guys..in fact like it tat way better still..felt tat guys ard my age all same pattern and mentality one..
guys get better with age...older guys can understand gals better..dun have to tell them much, but yet they know wat u feel..they are also more stable n mature, have e ability to provide and solve probs or heed advices from..
of cos lar not to the extent where he can b my father...there is this guy who is like 46yrs old, n fell for me..i was like wat the?....age difference is like more than 20yrs...he's divorced and fighting for custody of his youngest kid..e only thing tat made me feel comfy bout him is: his fatherlyness..
but then again, really depends on individuals..some are not v comfy w having a partner for too big an age gap.. -
Can I say that it is pretty common in Singapore to have many couples (normally the boyfriend is older than the girlfriend) with a 5-7 years of age gap between them?
