I wonder why we singaporeans are sharing a single IP address?
unlike other countries why cant we have seperate IP address for each user?
according to sources we are sharing 202.156.6.54 -
singnet not enough IP's so using proxy servers...

This ip is from the service provide called starhub one. START>RUN>CMD "tracert 202.156.6.54"
It is almost impossible for 4 million people to share one home right? This ip is maybe shared among your home, and your router assign you and other computer a different DHCP but using only one external ip: 202.156.6.54 -

That is the "external" address. When data from the internet comes in, it goes to the computer with this address. From this address it is farmed out to the computers connected to the address.
The data sent by the individual computers are caught by the computer with the "external" address and sent out into the internet. -

This ip is a common ip for starhub maxonline user only. Singtel and pacific uses different ip.
That message is because many people are vendalizing wikipedia with that ip, but since it is greatly rotated, therefore unable to ban.
You know about you ip? It is your isp lease to you one, not yours. Therefore after a days or weeks it will changed. You can't get a permanent ip without paying. That ip i suspect it rotates very commonly around starhub user, therefore if it is banned, it might caused great inconvenience to starhub user -

Wikipedia is very useful indeed.
Just like a art piece, people wiil appreciate and people will vandalized it. Not because it is drawn by someone lousy meaning it is not a good art piece. Same as people vandalized therefore you can't see it is a good art piece. -

I am supporting Wikipedia because I get a lot of useful information from it. My work needs it. You can said you get something better from some other website, but how can you so sure it is the fact?
Nevertheless, I will not only check one website for its' fact. I google it! also. All of the time, the information matches and Wikipedia even provides more detail explanation.

I only consider online source but never base on them, except some news websites. I usually do reaserch with Microsoft Encarta and Encyclopaedia Britannica. Both are throughly checked before publishing and carries law bonds, meaning if they make a mistake in their infomation you can sue them for compensation.
