cheats sell psp at lucky plaza

3 months ago i got cheated for buying a psp from lucky plaza. i tried to forget about the case until my friend also got cheated from one of the shops there.
well, they said things like: selling for $280 only..limited time..i thought it was damn cheap..so i just bought it without thinking.. then after paying, they said the psp does not come with any batt.. what the heck?? when i wanted to return it back and ask for my money back, they said that their policy cant refund..i will have to pay another 80 bucks to get the stupid batt.. and bare in mind it does not come with any memory stick or earphones..they took them out and sold it separately..i spend close to 400 for a basic pack..
just a reminder do ask the contents before purchasing from shops like these..sounds cheap but ex like hell!! -

Don't report to CASE... They're cheats too...
You shouldn't let these guys get away with this... Small claims tribunal is a small court with a $15 fee only... You don't even need a lawyer... Its a simple case of misrepresentation where he misrepresent the product to induse you to buy a product not detailed to what was told.... You'll win for sure... -

Actually this type of cheating is very rare already since appliances now have instruction manuals that states what you get with the box.
anyway, if the place is a sony agent. you can forward your complain to them. -

Lucky Plaza are notorious for cheat electronic shops and hp shops.. Beware not to buy from there.. although i cant confirm that other places shops are doin the same cheating. Any instances?

Be like my friend lor, he damn power, he make a din in the shop, refuse to leave until get a refund... Otherwise he keep making a din about the shop cheating money, then of coz consumers will not want to buy anything from that shop, they lose business... my friend damn power... after 30 mins the shop owner lan lan refund him the money. no need go case, self settled. -

The basement of Lucky Plaza shops all the same one... Never buy Hp & Games set from there. Some of the games shop are under the same bosses also... This place is a gathering for cheats to open shop. They are not honest in the way they do business... Cheating foreigners, locals... Their basic trick is to quote a low price for an item then when you decided to buy, they will want to collect money first... Then after that, they will let you know what is not inside...
Once my bro wanted to buy the N70 when it first came out not too long... Singtel selling about $700+ w/o plan liao. One shop near the Mac quoted my bro $690 only... Then my bro called me and told me my hp only $690 at LP so he thought of buying one for himself too... I asked him, are u sure or not? he said yeah, the man is just next to him... then i asked him to check with the salesman everything included? then he asked the salesman next to him the guy told him the price does not include the MMC card, the Battary & the Headphone.
He said wtf... price for Hp & box only? He told the guy he spent so much time there and the joker never once bring up a thing about this? Then he asked the joker what can he do with a Hp w/o battary and MMC card boy... The joker told him... Some of our customers don't want these items so we are providing them a better deal without these item... hahahaha...
Just for ur info, the extra items would have cost another $100+ so the total will end up $800+.
Lucky Plaza is a bad place to get anything, games & hps especially... the only good thing there is the Nasi Lemak... -
how can we allow these shops to continue cheatting the tourists? Shouldn't the authorities crack down on them to save our reputation...

because we have tour guides that mislead the tourist to lucky plaza.
the shop and tour guide have an agreement beforehand.. -
Alot of Shops in Lucky Plaza are like that,
Those selling battery and adapter and stuff like that seperately
A normal cam corder may cost cheaper, but added the battery and stuff like that will always cost more.
Those lucky plaza shops are like that.
I had a friend who work there once.
End up he was force by the boss to do this kind of stuff.
