My friend who is an average student in O and A levels(obtained B, B, C) scored a second class upper in business in NTU (three year course)Originally posted by HyuugaNeji:Reason is simple.
NUS four years then can get honours in business. NTU three years can get honours in business and it is much easier to get a first/second upper in NTU.
BTW, i am not a biz student. Just an example.
u cant extrapolate a fantastic degree to an average A lvl grade and claim "hey it's ez to get good honours."Originally posted by HyuugaNeji:My friend who is an average student in O and A levels(obtained B, B, C) scored a second class upper in business in NTU (three year course)

A B B can go cambridge? Anyway I'm in J1 this year. I hope everybody can give me advice on whether foreign or local universities are better.(For courses like business and law)Originally posted by HyuugaNeji:If got money, go overseas to study is the best. I got a female friend who went to cambridge to study after A levels. Her A levels only A B B with Bs in GP. She studied a 4 years master course in chemical engineering and now has a master degree.
What about those with 4As in A level? They slog it out in a local university and after 4 years, get an honours in chemical engineering.
Masters >>> honours
Of course go overseas- eg Cambridge, Oxford, MIT, even our Ministers sons don't study here.Originally posted by akister_tinkerbell:A B B can go cambridge? Anyway I'm in J1 this year.
