the people you really consider heroes to the Singapore success story.Please dont say PAP or LKY because your grandparents,parents,relatives,neighbors and friends deserve that much recognition also. -
last time we used to learn alot about our pioneers

Forgot about who they were except when we go to a hospital or pass by a street.These were the sung heroes but what about the ones we dont know? -

People who made Singapore: Nameless heros who sweated and died for this country.
My view of fellow singaporeans and the new generations: Sometimes, Singaporeans are ungrateful to the old people and each other who work so hard each day to make Singapore what it is today.
My wish: None. Because I do not see a better place anymore. -

no need to go to speaker corner or relac in any corner to talk about the common people who sweat and toiled for Singapore.Maybe the kacang puteh man,Hokkien Mee guy,Goreng Pisang Man,Bank Jaga..........etc.Cant believe there is no one in your families worthy of praise.I will tell my story on the eve of 9th August.-

The founder of the bar chor mee store at Blk 85 market.
If not for him, I also dunno what else I can eat. I basically survive on that bar chor mee after almost 30 years leh. -
I can think of one - David Marshall. I think he deserves more credit than he's been officially given.
