please lahOriginally posted by dibilo:haha. i remember in BMT, the 1st day i got enlisted, they asked the whole platoon this question. "anyone of you cannot stand the word "ch** bye? if you cannot please voice out now or forever hold your peace"
anyway, theoritically u can sue them if you feel insulted. but i guess we are all so used to it.
ok back to the teacher and student.
if the teacher were the one who blurted out those profanities, do you think the students will let him/ her off?
the is what the educational system has become. Students and their parents are so used to sue and complain about teacher's behavior. so right now, its pay back time.
I do agree that the parents are the ones paying, and i do believe this will serve as a wake up call to them, to take their child in hand, wake his idea up and get him to give his teacher the due respect like we all did in the past.
yes i agree in many /most cases it is possible to be in a situation whereby teacher and students can accept such behaviors.Originally posted by spadeTwo:please lah
in my school
or rather, cuz im at my teenage stage also
i have scolded teacher in their face "fck you"
they also have scolded me "fck you" before
what did i do ? nothing
what did they do when i scold ? detention. thats it.
the teacher is just kicking a big fuss right here.
i use to have a classmate who is every time must say the 7 word hokkien rhyme.
once, he used it on the teacher, the teacher only explain and reason it out with him and gave him some light punishment
i really don't see the need to fcking put the boy through such a process.
its not about the money. its the mental trauma that he's gona go through.
i'm a been there done that person. i know jolly well whats happening.
Did they also make you sign an agreement??Originally posted by dibilo:haha. i remember in BMT, the 1st day i got enlisted, they asked the whole platoon this question. "anyone of you cannot stand the word "ch** bye? if you cannot please voice out now or forever hold your peace"![]()
Dun put the blame on the education system.......the blame is on the parents who treat their boy/girl like gold!! It all starts in the home....parents giving too much leeway to their child.....child learns not to respect elders..but to demand more!! Hence, child learns that they can abuse elders...any elders...and that includes their teachers.Originally posted by Y_Shun:
shows the failure of our education system.
to have the need to use law to teach younger generation???
