  Hi,

  i got SGD3000 in the bank.

   

  was thinking is there a better way to use the $$$ than let it 'rot' in the bank.

   

  Any investment guru out there??

  buy for me and alot of other people premium mebership lor. lol but on the serious side, keep it and save it. u might want to change banks [presuming u're using POSB now] for their higher interest rates but 3k not much la. so i say save first. if u want to... u can also maybe start those small kind of business? how old r u btw?

  $$$ will not rot.... you will need it in times of crisis

   

   

  tho my knowledge in investing is kns , but i know 3k isnt sufficient for investment

   

   

  hows your lifestyle like? do you have to pay for house rental, lotsa bills etc.... dont use it unnecessarily

  with 3000 ,your amount is less than the minimum required in any managed funds

  I wont propose u invest ,becos you might not be able to take the volatility and you will lose your principal

  if you seriously want to invest  , i can offer you advise if u PM me

  but it will be a assessment of your risk profile first ,becos your 3000 which already addressed by many is far too little for the rising cost of inflation

  unless u go adventurous in your risk profile

  3K dont even think of invest..... even inflation rate is 2.8percent roughly.... your 3k is peanuts for investment.. we are talking about 10k and above investment at least... anything lesser then 10k invest not very worth it...
