"Prescription drugs found in drinking water across U.S.
A vast array of pharmaceuticals -- including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones -- have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows.....
....
How do the drugs get into the water?
People take pills. Their bodies absorb some of the medication, but the rest of it passes through and is flushed down the toilet. The wastewater is treated before it is discharged into reservoirs, rivers or lakes. Then, some of the water is cleansed again at drinking water treatment plants and piped to consumers. But most treatments do not remove all drug residue...."
Do you think Newater treatment plant remove such drug residue? Understand Newater is now piped into our reservoir. Is our drinking water safe?
im not dead yet
are u?

you will be dead in the long run
circumstances of death still to be determined
If the drug residues are smaller than the filters... then it will be a concern.
don't worry i have the fullest confidence that our authorities will tell us that our water is 100% safe.
I hope that provides a strong assurance for you.

even if someone dies from it...
they will still tell u it's an isolated case...

i could do with some prozac in the water ![]()
when SKII had issues with its' products in China (certain carcinogenic chemicals)
it too came out to give full assurance about the quality of its' products
luckily i have diamond energy water filter system but the water very dirty loh. Every month needs to wash 1 of the filters and the filter is always very black and dirty.
but what other alternatives do we have
government wants to increase population to 6.5 million
this will be a severe drain on our water resources
rest assured our Ministers will not be affected by issues regarding recycled water
they probably drink distilled or mineral water.
hmm.. if ur very worried though, u can dun drink water but then without water u can't survive very long though. i rather take the chance though

I used Mitsubishi Cleansui, every 6 months change filter.
filter also dirty
30% to 50% of my water needs is from mineral water
I don't trust the authorities. I remembered they give a NEWater talk when I was in sec school. They said that even after treating the water, it won't be 100% safe. All they can guarantee is that you won't die from drinking it due to pollutants or other crap.

the additive that they add after recycling, in large does it is carcinogenic.
but what the heck, either ways the government wins
if you get cancer after drinking their water
you will need to go hospital for chemotherapy and surgery
they make from water, they make from your medical expenses
a win win situation
What the hell.
They sure know how to squeeze us dry.
Whatever. We will die sooner or later anyway.
I don't mind dying.. but don't want to gana this cancer, that cancer.. then end up in hospital and have to pay and pay...
extremely safe with nice heathly dose of flouride to keep everyonce nice and passive!
You might as well eat toothpaste ![]()
some chemicals though small in quantities,
will only manifest it's effects in the long run
it's not like you take today, you will see results tomorrow.
it is because of these that humans find it hard to associate it with the resultant cause
our water supply is safe to drink, i sumtime drink fro tap directly , ourwater supply i experimented, has low chloride taste turbidities and suspend particles. just that the pipe freaking need to change ...
Alamak....
Our water is definitely cleaner and safer than what you have 20-30 years ago. Most of you are just being paranoid. Your bodies are stronger than you think it is. You won't die just from ingesting a little bit of something extra. You probably won't even feel the different.
And I suggest against cleaning up your water too much. Your body's immunity system is like a muscle. You need to exercize it. If you leave it idle for too long, when one day something does happen, you'll be royally screwed.
i've been drinking tap water for at least at least a decade, comparing myself to my other family members who drinks boiled water, no difference..

your chemical assay with what equipment?
got do mass spectrometric analysis?
Our water system is just like our security system (Look at how mas selamat escape). There's a lot of loopholes, coverups yet lots of assurances that everything is safe or that things will be improved on.
i think one has to distinguish between biological and chemical contaminants.
with biological contaminants, you can gain resistance with strong immune system due to frequent exposures
your body develops anti-bodies.....................
with chemical contaminants, you drink abit with frequency it will accumulate in your system
consider drinking arsenic, you drink minute amounts, it doesn't kill you, you drink for years
then one fine day, you decide that you have build up resistance to it, you drink in large does
you die.
does it mean with increased frequency of exposure
you will gain resistance to it?
