Anybody heard this story b4?

There was a colony of starving mice. Every mouse was starving, but wait a minute, there's a big lump of cheese that could feed the colony for a long time. However, it is at the top of a blazing building. To get the cheese down, a little push is needed.
So 10 mice opted to go up in the burning building to and push the cheese down. This was MISSION IMPOSSIBLE to the colony. Along the way up, one by one, the mouse failed. Except one who proved to be the colony's hero who got to the top and pushed the cheese down. After he safely returned back to the ground. The mice were intrigued and asked him on how did he managed to get to the top of the building. The hero mouse kept silent and continued eating his share of the cheese. The probed him again and again. But this mouse ignored them as if they never existed.
Then one mouse tapped him on his should and the hero mouse turned. The actually thing is, the hero mouse was deaf.
Get the moral of the story. Who can guess 1st I will treat you to dinner.
