I dont know if many people know this already.....but actually chewing gum is freely sold in Singapore.......it's not banned anymore.
Just several days ago I enjoyed myself with a few chewing gums bought in drug strores/ pharmacies.
It's quite nice.

The lifting of the ban was implemented only this month.
More work for the cleaners to do....

So what of it did I miss?
If you are talking about the fact that the ban has been partially lifted before to allow people to enjoy chewing gum but not to buy/sell it, I do know about that.
But when chewing gum is put in all the pharmacies around you, things are going to get a lot worse...

It is true that the pharmacies sells chewing gum now.
It is not true that the chewing gum is going to be sold everywhere.

For the old people and PRs only.
And when you consider the fact that those spitting the gums around are the younger ones while the elderly have to clean it up....
That is great news
chewing gum is never banned in sg in the first place. its jus that cannot sell gums in sg only. but now they relax the ruling after the gum company lobby against selling them, so I suppose only pharmacies can only sell gums. only a pharmacist can sell it to you as it is under prescription counter locked there. its not over the counter gum whereby you can take and pay at the counter.
Woooo... I am going to buy myself lots
bloody hell, foreign workers can chew betel and we cannot chew gum ah??
Go JB chew until mouth pain
Too bad that I dun eat chewing gums.
