I have been a Japanese Citizen for more than 15 years oreddy and have Chinese Peranakan /Thai and Malay blood in my veins.Lagi mau bilang apa??

Abstract
This paper examins whether viewers of the popular television show, American Idol, exhibit racial preferences. We find evidence on same-race preferences among black viewers only; when there are more black contestants in the show, more black viewers are tuned in to watch it. The finding is robust after we account for the endogeneity problem regarding the contestants' racial composition, which arises due to the voting mechanism. Our point estimate that a 10 percentage point increase in the proportion of black contestants increases viewership for black households by 1.3 percentage points. The results are robust after we control for the "color" of songs.

The reasons are simple:
1) Malay is a more united, cohesive community than the Chinese
2) Vast Majority of the Malay are of the same faith under 1 religion, which unite them even more.
3) Most Chinese watch Ch8. The percentage of Chinese watching Ch5 is low.
4) Malay support Malay
5) Chinese also support Malay
6) Think hardly any Malay would support Chinese
7) Chinese generally are a selfish lot, they only unite when crisis threatening the survival of their race, or Chinese being bullied. Self is more important than the community.
8) Chinese generally are not so interested in this kind of event.
So, dont be surprised that Malay will always win in such contest. -
