Transfered the money to the seller's posb account. Few days later seller claimed no stock promised to refund. Then now seller claim bor money to refund me and ask me give him/her chance after i say i want report to police.
Nbpcb, what is the chance i get back the money ah. Cant get back nvm leh, at least i wan this scammer go jail sit.
For the police report part, what info should i provide... your advice is most welcome!

Go down to the bank and see whether can cancelled the transaction.

try to settle amicably if you can. no point putting him to jail at the expense of your hard earned money.

like email correspondence, records of ur "conversation" on the deal......

By the way, go print out the bank statement and use that as evidence ba, money already go into his account, no way to get back liao.......
look for SPH and report this thing, post his user name and everything everywhere to warn others lo......

what exactly did u buy? from where? ebay or blogshop or forum? how much u paid? send by mail to ur house? by normal or registered mail?

see the amount first lah... it's a virtue to be able to forgive your enemies... not easy thing to do... but if the amount is big, then just do what you have to do to get back at that guy.

see how much did you lost? if less than $100, den take it as you treat a few of your friend to a nice restaurant. If the amount as big as more than $500, den die die have to do sth. If i were you, I pay half of the amount first den receive the stock in person den pay the another half.
im not toking abt the bank records bodoh.
im toking abt the transaction of the said deal.
example, a thread in marketplace, with the item details, price.
and the buyer's PM to seller abt wanting to buy
and the seller reply to the PM to agree to deal

The key thing here is the amount you lost and how much time and effort you can afford to get it back. No point chasing after a bird who took a snip off your burger.
