if u r the girl (since u said "his watch"), maybe ur other half is trying to hint the magical numbers "1" and "4" asking you to accept his "anything (eg. marriage proposal etc)"?   does "1" and "4" reminds you of your anything?  where else are the prominent places that he managed to recreate these numbers for you to see?

where does these numbers come from?

From a capsule at a Primary school compound, it was buried about a century ago where the then childrens wrote or draw on a piece of paper for the next century childrens, which is the present, to reopen and read about it.

last time i was also invited to the kallang stadium to put in the capsule into the underground for dunno what reason...

You can choose to ignore it or if you want to be superstitious, go pray and be vigilant and attentive to your surroundings..
