Let us talk about feminists, or to be more specific, the breed of "feminism" that most women in Singapore have nowadays.
Feminism should be the idea that women and men deserve equal rights. However, many of Singapore's women think that means men and women should be treated the same, as opposed to being treated with equality.Males and females are not the same, and regardless of how gender roles evolve, they will never be the same. This is nature. Just like how having a mother is way more important to a kid than having a father.
If you ask women in Singapore if they want to be treated with equality, they would say yes, but would also want men to give up their seats to them, and open doors for them. They would switch between preference of chivalry and gender equality depending on which is more convenient at the moment.

I personally believe that women should be given equal rights to education and work in case the husband die. so the women still can support the family lor.
