Anyway, I would just like to mention, as I mentioned to him also in another thread, there is no such thing as FACTS. There are only figures, and then, opinions.
We ALL deal with opinions, coz different people would interpret the same set of figures differently. In short, certain figures might also be skipped from analysis so as to come to the pre-determined conclusion.
This is our Govt. Before starting any research, or collecting any statistics, they already have a biased conclusion in their minds. They do not analyze figures objectively, but to derive their pre-determined conclusion.
This is likened to the research community, where usually 1 out of 10 papers are truly useful, while the rest are just biased research (where the conclusion is already pre-determined before the research is conducted)
You can say all you want, but it will be useless if you cant show us an example to support your claim. -

And, I don't need to give you an example to support my claim that we deal with opinions everyday. In fact, you are demonstrating exactly what I mean. There is not a fact on what you say, just your opinion.
A fact is defined as the absolute truth, and since whatever you say here is debatable, yours are all opinions as well. -

a) Protectionism is good for Singapore and it promotes investment like IRs
b) Open economy is bad for Singapore and its people
c) 80/20 rule in income distribution theory
d) If your national carrier doest threat you well, you should consider leaving the country.
f) Singapore IRs is an example of protectionism
g) Local and foreign companies offer the same benefits to Singapore economy
h) All casino operators can operate world class IR by themselves
i) Singapore employer prefers more expensive Indian FT to cheaper average local graduate.
j) it is wrong for government to outsource project to overseas companies even if it is better value for money.
k) S-league foreign footballers are all highly educated individual from overseas
l) You need paper qualification to be a talent.
m) Income gap = living standard
