LKY, he contributed (it was past) but he also takes a lot from the people. Many people will be jumping for joy when he dies.

i was window shopping earlier and i walked past CD Rama/Popular which was running a video on LKY. i am sure it was done by SPH or Mediacorp altho I didn't bother to check. however, i stayed for a couple of minutes to take a glimpse of the man and his daily life. on one part, he said how he hated a cluttered and messy desk for his daily work, and that motivates me to clear up the mess on my study....but later he talks about how he must swim daily to keep fit. what follows was almost incredible. he actually allowed himself to be filmed in his just swimming trunk as he makes his way to the swimming pool. not a pretty picture of a man in his 70s (i presume that this was filmed a while back); and a young girl besided me with his (presumably) dad exclaimed, "Ai ye...disgusting". i just looked at her and smile. he went on to do a couple of laps, and the camera was angled perfectly as he emerged from the pool with a huge smile. Very Mao, i thought.
i can't believe the amount of propaganda that is going on here. best part, this is sold in a retail outlet. i wonder who bought these dvd. obviously money not enough for LKY.
edit: judging from what i see, i don't think he's dying anytime soon...

What you saw was shown on TV a couple of years back, he was in his 80s. He looks fit and going strong. To any of us human beings, death could be far from him. But nobody can predict the work of heaven. If one day heaven wants to take him away, nobody can stop it. When he reports to hell, he will have to be answerable as to why he is so greedy and earns so much to make himself filthy rich at the expense of the nation.

When LKY is about to died he will see ghost of his victims and political foe hunting for him. He will see 陈å…使,王鼎昌, Chengara Veetil Devan Nair, Tunku Abdul Rahman and many many more. If Dr M still around he will celebrate by drinking champagne, other Malaysia leader may declear one day of holiday for themself.
