I think Atobe & Andrew are just a bit more aggressive in pushing their points, not negative... besides their writings are objective and they have alot of supporting evidence to backup their arguments. It's their detractors that tend to stray into the "emotional" region when they run out of material to counter. I think the person who's trying to take them to task for their tone is being the negative one here - picking up on negative vibes that don't even exist, trying to weigh down a perfectly above-board discussion !!

Youths (those interested in politics and current affairs) are constantly being exposed to the harsh reality of Singapore's system. The reality that they will, in due time be pushed and suppressed...
I pity them in this context. For those ignorant ones, perhaps they will continue being ignorant, trusting and swallowing the PAP's propagandas.
I laughed at the police when I read that they rejected the WP's proposal for a simple cycling event. Maybe the PAP should withdraw all politicians from gracing all events, since my interpretation sees it as publicity gaining and promoting of one's own party.
I laugh at their shallow interpretation, their oppressive tactics and at the double standards applied in the books of Singapore's laws. Do you D share the same view? -

Yeah it's a sad state of affairs..
That they have to resort to this sort of ... 3rd world method.. to achieve a 1st world economy. Ironic that Singapore, for all its "progress", could not escape this fate.
