The authorities have already given a call to all Singaporeans to help look out for the guy. Even if he is hiding in one of his JI "friends" place, i'm sure the resident around the area would help keep a look out. Moreover posters are also pasted all around HDB estate.
Answer this multiple choice, which is more likely
A) Selamat having a ball playing hide and seek
b)He is relac in a Cell's home
C) Oreddy out of Singapore (quitter or just making way for more PRCs?)
D)He is dead (cover up)
Is there a possibility he is still hiding in the Detention Centre ?

I doubt the authorities can find him. It's like looking for a needle in hay stack boy
Just wondering if all of you received the MMS from the Singapore Police? I told two friends in an incredulous tone that I've just received the MMS at 1.30pm today and one said she received it last evening and the other has yet to receive the MMS! So why all the big hoohah in the papers about the telcos doing their part to broadcast information to their subscribers?
And as an aside, how real are the voting numbers when votes are submitted via sms?! It's true what they say, don't vote and save money!
Channel NewsAsia - 50 minutes ago
SINGAPORE: Police have released pictures of what alleged Jemaah Islamiyah leader, Mas Selamat Kastari, might have been wearing when he escaped from the Whitley Detention Centre on Wednesday.
Mas Selamat had with him the prescribed attire of the detention centre a pair of rubber slippers, brown trousers and beige round—collared t—shirt.
After an accounting of his personal belongings, police believe that Mas Selamat also has a greenish grey baju kurong with him.
Police believe Mas Selamat is likely to have changed out of the detention centre attire, and anyone who has seen the discarded clothes and slippers should call 999 immediately.
So far, police have received 600 phone calls and 170 emails related to Mas Selamat’s escape. — CNA/so
Only a fool would still be wearing the outfit he wore when he escaped. And haven't people asked from day 1 what he wore when he escaped?! But at that time, everyone thought that nevermind, at least can check for a limp to confirm the identity!! I don't want to believe it but their own actions give weight to conspirancy theories!
lol ya lor. first thing i'd do is ditch my clothes.
shoplift some clothes etc
why are they releasing these information only now ? .....
for the longest time the public had nothing to go on, no height, no weight, no nothing, except for that two frontal mug shots ....
what's the point of releasing such information now, after nearly a week ? ....
the handling of this incident by the SPF and various security apparatus is seriously flawed in parts ......... ![]()

When there is a dearth of information, information get invented.
There is a marked culture of withholding information presently.
