it is known that coporal punishment has been banned in schools for quite some time already, but ask yourself. should it be completely banned? or should we have at least a little corporal punishment in school?
when i say completely ban, it means DMs or principals in schools will have no power to hit the children, using the cane and stuff like that, now it is only restricted to these 2 people in schools which are so called entitled to induce corporal punishment. Teachers are not allowed to do so.
But then again, some teachers are still doing it in school, "secretly"? not?
I want to hear your views about this. Perhaps you can support it with articles/evidences to boost your answer?

in primary schools, i think its necessary to allow hitting the palm with the ruler... works wonders for my class at that time
Cannot lah. Nows-a-days children all very spoilt one. Cannot even lay a hand on them. These small pricks carry along a lawyer in their pockets... and you may end up getting sued for asking them to stand on their chairs.
