I don't see the connection but as I remember it, imposing the law restricting the use of all chewig gum essentially took money out of the Singaporean economy by causing all Singaporeans to purchase their gum overseas, most frequently Malaysia, and bringing them over the border.

Due to the high levels of drug consumption and teenage pregnancies in the schools. The families with some $$$ are all prepared to send the children away from Thailand the moment there is a hint of drugs in their children's friends body system.
Would you understand how a big brotherr/sister/ mother or father feels?

Again, imposing age restrictions would entail the legalisation of drugs as I have stated many times before. Also, like I have said, legalisation would not cause an increase in recreational drug use as shown by the Netherlands.

I based all of my points on statistics, medical and scientific research, and economic publications. I'm getting the feeling that you're not looking at any of my citations or linked sources.
Chewing gum was banned because it was causing problems with its disposal. Again, nothing to do with the topic at hand.

How about, I bring you around on patrol, and you tell the families of any abuse linked to drugs about how much their sons, brothers, fathers, daughters, sisters, mothers & possibly grandmothers should still legalise drugs.
