he really can sing.. i was touched when he sang this song..
if it's him that's gg to the finals, i think at least there's something to see..
if i dun remember wrongly, he gave up his job to take up this competition..
but now left with that Kun Bai and Daren.. i think Daren will win lor..
Daren is good la.. sings quite well and is very confident and entertaining.
among all the superstars, i think that Zhang Le Sheng and that guy with that hip hop hair can sing really well, and it's a pity they din make it to the finals.
overall, i think this year's superstars are not as good as last year's.. especially the girls.. i think Diya sure win. -

actually wanted to log off and go lie on the bed, listen to JQ and read a book but after hearing JQ's friend comments about being together for 7 years becos of loneliness, feels like making some comments abt it.
maybe some of us just believe too much in love. maybe really, seriously, being together is really as simple as avoiding loneliness. too many maybes. nobody is right or wrong. its just life. -

Took part in a contest for the preview with her... hopefully can get it...fingers crossed.....

ok guys, report from after the movie "Happy Birthday"....
I find it a bit draggy in the begining... I thot the part on the Mom wasn't necessary, Renee should really just play herself... being insecure in love. The mom part makes the whole movie rather cliche.
I also thought the smoking part not necessary. Louis Koo with the specs look so nerdy that the cigarette looks out of place.
Renee has alot of space to act, especially the part in the car. Absolutely fabulous.
The ending was very touching. But somehow, I have this feeling that I have heard this storyline somewhere before.
Came back to read Renee's book (Yes, impulsively, I bought both her original book and the book they release to coincide with this movie), its much more neater (not draggy) without the mother and the cigarettes part.
Now, on the meet the fans session at PS. I didnt stay throughout cos I was too far away and couldnt see a thing. I was disappointed with Renee's dressing.. I still prefer her in simple long flowing skirt and long hair, like she is in the movie. Louis seems to be pissed with something and gave the impression that he cant wait to get everything over and done with.
Louis didnt turn up at Lido. Renee came for a while only and left before the movie started. However, I did manage to get a few good shots of her. But somehow I felt sorry for her, have to face so many flashes from the cameras in front of her.
Saw JQ too. Was sitting diagonally across from him in front of the Lido big screen. Didnt say hello becos he was with his friends and I was with my friend. Think not too nice to intrude.
Anyway, I recommend reading Renee's book. This is the 2nd book that I am reading that is written by her. There is only one thing I like to say : If you like the type of music that JQ plays, you will like what Renee has written.
