i didnt catch jq's program last sat.....
shifted office on fri and had to come new office on sat to unpack and organise things so tat we can start work today...but well, alot of hiccups even till today... 
so tired.
dk's shop, i heard it's somewhere near guardian or body shop..and turf city......i think it'll only attract pple when there're qian chang hui...the only times i went there was bcoz of energy.......
and i hardly even shop there when i happen to be there.except for buying food and drinks frm 7-11 and mcdonalds.
got a few seafood restaurants there lah, i suppose some families who have cars would drive there for dinner during the wkends... -
Was not at home on Sat Had to fulfil my "filial piety" duties by going back parents and in-laws homes. If not for that, I would have just stayed home listen to radio. Anyway, the weather was too warm recently to enjoy a nice day out. Hopefully I can catch him this Sat...

I like his songs and on-stage persona a lot, so hope it will be a good concert tomorrow evening. Anyway, he hardly ever comes, so no way I'm going to miss this!
Even if I'm not in a sad mood, I will still tear at some songs. One of them is <>, esp the chorus "guo qu rang ta guo qu, lai bu ji, cong tou xi huan ni..." These are the kind of good songs which can still touch people's hearts after so long, but recently it's getting lesser. -

No leh, marriage not necessarily will bring happiness. In fact it sets the stage for more conflicts because of more interactions and more time spent together. Happiness won't come to people. People have to search and build happiness themselves. Happiness in life depends on whether you know how to find it.
It is also perspective lah. Like for us, we may not be rich and don't own car, but we find happiness in taking public transport. I will see it as he will have more attention on me rather than on a steering wheel. We can read the papers together on MRT or just talk, rather than him concentrating on the road and me on the radio. Don't know leh, to me I am contented with just little happiness

I don't know leh, everything I felt towards people I don't feel the same with her. I see her I already very happy le, even though she is so naughty and refuses to listen to instructions. Because I know only she will not let me down no matter what. Dogs give you unconditional love and even if you are bad to them (not that I am!), they will still want your attention. Sometimes I think human beings are really lucky, because animals like dogs are willing to give their all just to have a bit of attention from us. But ourselves, what do we do to deserve all these?
So your friend went to Turf City ah? Wah, think of the ulu place I already sianz half. Unless you want to go there makan, if not, there's nothing there which you can't find elsewhere. -

Good morning everybody! How was your week? I've been busy making birthday gift for my buddy..fingers almost break..aiyo..Yesterday was her birthday..I managed to win 2 tickets to SHE Mini Concert..today at TV theatre..hahaha..She is very happy leh! I duno whether I will be able to catch JieQi's prog on time today..but I will still bring my receiver along.

I saw a shooting star last night..2nd time in my life..the first time wasn't seen on a meteor rain night either lor..duno why..2 times I saw it on a normal night..If you want to ask me whether I made a wish, Yes I did. But I'm scared..the first wish came true, but din last long..this second wish..I actually a bit regret that I made that wish lor..Perhaps shooting star signifies 'duan3 zhan4' ba...it's only a few seconds..even the wish I made..maybe will come true, but won't be permanent, just like the shooting star, vanish into the sky very fast. Any of you saw a shooting star before? Got make wish? Care to share with us?
I seldom come online lately..schedule for this weekend is very packed. I will go on a few days stay at a chalet..take a break and relax for 3 days..spend time with my friends..long time never go beach le..will take this opportunity to have fun at the beach..Maybe will go and catch the sunrise and play fireworks at night..

Went to SHE mini concert with buddy today..SHE are so cute neh! Ella especially..many actions wan..hebe also gao3 guai4..selina was there laughed till cry like that..
They were put to test..fry egg haha..Ella is the best. Selina NEVER touched wok and pan before..haha..she poured in too much oil and they were spurting out..she was 'crying away'..asking for help...her egg failed LOL..I was shocked leh. They sang new songs and also and ..even walked to the audience and let the floor ask questions..almost 2 hours show..very funny..This concert will be aired on Labour Day..remember to catch it if you are interested..Dun worry, I'll not be in the picture haha..
Very tired..travelled from east to west..bought things for chalet..and listening to JieQi's prog..he played many sad songs today right? I was in bus alone..and mood was affected..haiz. -
meteor ...only time i really see was during the meteor rain a few yrs ago, saw a pathetic 2 or 3 only.......
never make wishes, bcoz i dun beliff in them.
my mood was swung to extreme ends over the past mth.....
alot of tension in the office bcoz of change in mgt..alot of stress as well, and have to adapt to the changes quickly.....
then one of my frens' father passed away, of heart attack, on the day he was discharged from hospital after recup for like 2 mths..came too sudden, and i was out wif my fren on the day when it happened, so went home her after her bro called her.....when u're there, and u see the whole trauma, the impact is really big.....bcoz she dun have many relatives, so me and another fren helped her during the funeral......
the happie thing was, my cousin's wife gave birth to a boy last wed, my mum is taking care of their elder son, who is 1.5 yr old, very very active and notti boy.....his younger bro looks quite like him when he was a baby, but i hope he's not as notti...if not they really can turn our hse upside down....this notti nephew brought alot of laughter to my hse tho..despite the fact he's really mischievious, i still enjoy having him around....and there's more to come, since he'll be staying in my hse during his mum's confinement......reason being, he's too notti liao, can't leave him at home....when he visited his mum n bro at the hosp, he was screaming and shouting away...and attempted to give a fright to his younger bro.....lol...of coz, i think he's too young to understand lah.....
and i had some disagreement wif a fren over $$ matters; tok $$ hurt feelings, tat's really very true lor.... -

Well, I HATE to talk about money too..these few days at the chalet..really BTH a girl fren. Soooooooooooooo calculative! This morning before check out, I really shot at her. Why? Bcos she could not find the FREE towel in the cabinet..and the free admission to ESCAPE tickets..She wants them, but so calculative about the accommodation expenses, food etc. Paid the least, did the least and grumbled the most, still got the cheek to say that she wana serach our bags bcos she could not find the free towel! HOT!!! Would you ever search your frens' bags? I could only use one word to describe her. GREEDY! Take more than what she deserves, did much lesser than others and yet still bad mouthed people right in front of me. Grumble so much leh...and to think that she is getting married next August..I can't believe it~ How can a man stand her like that ar? For life..haiz...For goodness sake~
Really very tired..stay at the chalet..I saw 'unclean thing'..strange things happened..found 2 finger nails which do not belong to anyone of us. Not chipped but whole complete nails (maybe fake nails)..3 frens immediately jumped up the bed..aiyo..no one dared to go toilet, bathe..almost dun dare to sleep..I thought I could not sleep coz I also drank coffee..but then I slept so soundly leh! Hardly a heavy sleeper..room phone rang at 1.30am when some of us were watching TV..suddenly all woke up in shock. Haha..
Anyone of you got weird encounters during stay at chalet? Dun mind sharing?
First night, my fren had her frens to give us a drive on a truck..went to Changi Village to see the 'beauties', Old Changi Hospital..(but was too eerie and dark on the way, so we din go eventually) and headed to Changi beach instead..passed by Changi Airport..very nice view! On the way back, kena road block! Wah..very suay leh...all girls din bring IC..left in room..all kena asked to get out of the truck..the driver almost got into trouble..remember that sickening malay policeman's face! Lucky another chinese policeman saved us man..if not, the driver would have gotten into deep shit!
Back home till now, very tired...slept one hour and did the laundry..wana K.O already...

one of my coll also damn funnie wan; last time in the old office, i sit quite far from her, so i dunno how she's been working lah, but i knew how 'smart' she is lor.........since we've moved into the new office, she is now my neighbour, and i'm quite entertained by her for the past mth... juz on mon, our water dispenser ran out of water, so i asked her how to change the refill, (coz it's a new dispenser, we didnt use dispenser last time) she told me, she gotta call the service man over to help her change the refill......
OMG! i was taken aback.....then she said, bcoz the refill too heavy, she can't manage, need a guy to do so....i juz said, there's so many guys out there, juz ask one of them lah....
then recently, her boss asked her to buy a cake for him, she asked the despatch to get it ... , then she placed the cake at the boss's desk, ON THE FLR, of coz, tat earned her a scolding lah, she still came to me to complain, said she put on the flr bcoz it was wet, and the cake + the box was in a plastic bag mah...... i told her str8 how can u put food on the flr? she said dun wanna wet the table, and tat her boss too hard to ent liao... *shrugs*
and then i found out she put canned drinks into the freezer compartment. tat really was a 'smart' move......and when the pantry auntie told her like tat cannot, she actually said she does tat at home!!
in case u're curious, she is married, for many years, has got 2 kids who are teenagers already......... -
Weird encounters in chalet? hmm, not that I remember...but since you visited/passed by some haunted place during your 1st night (old Changi Hospital), maybe that's why got that kind of weird encounters? However, I feel staying in chalets with friends can be a good experience. Usually people staying in chalets behave more or less the way they do at home, so can know what they are really like...some people refuse to help out in dishes (so you know they can be quite "da xiao jie/da shao ye"), some can't stand rubbish being thrown around (neat people), etc.
eh buddy your colleague like bo simi common sense. Canned drinks esp soft drinks will actually expand in freezer and after that the cans may be quite bloated and spoilt until the gas runs out. Maybe her house freezer is spoilt, that's why not cold enough to spoil her canned drinks! Food how can put on floor? Tell her the only time can put food on floor is to offer food to dead people. 
Cannot lah, so dirty some more...wet the table cannot use rag to wipe meh? Or wipe the bottom before putting on the table, or put the box on top of some newspapers so won't wet the table mah. Duh...but blur blur people can still have kids lah, why not? Just that the kids will grow up blur blur also, and argue with their friends that canned drinks should be kept in freezer and food can put on the floor.
bbb, Chen Sheng was very very funny! He kept scampering around the stage and danced some stupid dance (a bit like Mr. Bean dancing, if you have seen it before!). He sang a few tribal songs with the "pai2 wan1" tribe band, so the whole atmosphere was quite "nature". Was hoping he would sing a few of his own songs, but again he was here to promote Taiwan's traditional culture. So you didn't miss much if you were expecting him to sing his own songs.
How come your friend so "yao gui" one towel? Got $ get married, no $ buy towel??? Plus why would she want the free towel from a chalet? Hadn't it been used by countless people before her??? How clean can it be? Yucks... even if not, for one towel wanted to search friends' bags, really too much liao. Just retort her no one so yao gui until will want to steal a towel from a chalet. -

Cut it short here..
1) The towel is new, nicely wrapped. Power puff girls towel..she wanted the tix and towel. Think she suspect my fren who booked the chalet took it. So that fren purposely unpacked and repakced her stuff in front of her, to prove to her that she din take the towel! Then that girl was there 'siam-ing'. I said already, need to search bag meh? She still din abort that thought, still suspecting my frens! 7 of us are very good frens in school la..
2) Second night, 4 of them LS throughout the night. LS = diarrhoea. Early in the morning when she opened her eyes, she immediately went to search the plastic bags, the cupboards etc. Then told another fren that there were another 2 cups of cup noodles left and they should eat them up. Please lor, that cup noodles belonged to me and the girl who booked the chalet. If you really so yao gui want to eat, please ask first whether we want..Duno what is manners ar? Kan bu guo qu..she wants everything..even things that she did not pay for...It's easily understood..7 of us went chalet..7 cups of cup noodles only..no extras..paid for our own.
3) She stepped on my precious tatty teddy! I screamed!!! Another fren got shocked~ LOL For the first time I screamed like that..that's my precious tatty teddy..means a lot to me and yet she dared to step it in front of me! Please lor, that cute bear is lying on the bed, right in front of her leg, she got two options. One is to put it aside nicely and secondly is heck care, just step on it and stretch her legs. Apparently, she chose the latter without thinking! Use your brains la, think your legs very clean meh? my poor teddy.
I can't sleep without that teddy lor..should be able to tell how much it means to me. Seriously!
4) She said my best fren is Qian Jin Da Xiao Jie..did nothing but only sleep. Please lor, people need a lot of sleep wan..all along we know lor. Let her sleep will die is it? Need to say her like that meh? At least people din grumble so much and not so calculative!
5) She asked a fren to send her home in her dad's car. My fren had very bad diarrhoea..LS and vomit throughout the night liao. For goodness sake, pleaseeeeeeeeeeee let her go home earlier and rest lor. Din even bother to help her carry her things still wana ask for a free ride. so thick-skinned! People live in Jurong East, she lives in Choa Chu Kang, really not very 'shun lu' lor..why still so bui paisei leh..haiz..Then at clementi, a fren's hp rang..her fren wana send her home. Then she asked again..kaoz..BTH her.
6) She told us she got no money..but still bought a cushion leh! Bought and bring it to chalet...hug hug..no money hor? really 'no money'..still got money to depost into her joint account with her boyfren. Almost $2000 ok..money to get married? Haha..she suggested to get married on next August..really jin da xi suan lor. She said it's her 21st birthday mah...might as well wed and have buffet..hit 2 birds with 1 stone. Thrifty har? I pity her boyfren..how to stand her..haiz.
I went to work today..really fed up that i wanted to quit just 1.5 hours later..Did survey work..few hours only..but I got rejected by more than 10 people and after 1 hour, my forms were still blank. Very disheartened..and the angmohs are sooooooooooooo dao. Hey hello, at least smile at me and fu yan yi xia mah..took me as invisible..Wah leh..so angry that I nearly burst into tears when I talked to my fren on the phone..Money really not easy to earn. My legs are so suan now..went to City hall, Raffles City, Orchard and also Bugis to do the survey leh..and got drenched after I knocked off..really suay...One day job only..no next time!
Hajime saw Chen Sheng har? Happy for you..too bad I missed it, but come to think of it, I really had no energy yesterday lor..after doing the laundry and cooking etc..even overslept today..haiz..but lucky still very early for work.

quite long nv go chalet stay liao..but so far nothing extraordinary happened b4....however, some hotel do give me the creeps...few yrs ago, when i was in europe tour, the chow tour guide, on our way to some sub-urban hotel, told us some ghost story..then when arvd at the hotel, me, my auntie & her fren were allocated to this room on the top flr, the hotel 4 storey only lah but is the traditional type, wif the brick wall, so it looked abit eerie lor...somemore weather very cold, adds on to the creepiness...tho, nothing happened lah....
i agree wif buddy, when go chalet wif a grp of pple, u can really see wat a person is like....i guess, is xiang jian rong yi xiang chu nan, only when u get to stay together that one another's living habits do affect u. same goes for travelling wif frens.....
bbb, ur fren quite wu yao ke jiu lah....horrible leh, yao gui can tolerate leh, but she really inconsiderate and buay zi dong...very self-centred. wat's so attractive abt the towel? maybe u shd tell her it's probably taken away by the 'gd bros'
my sec is plain bo nao, nvm if she's pretty , but she isnt lor!! i juz scolded her today, i dun care if she's the most senior staff here (in terms of age, and no. of years serving this co.) she put a letter addressed to my boss on my table; so i asked her why she did tat; she asked me back instead if i opened the letter for my boss; i said, no, it's stated on the envelope tat's for my boss; then she said, oh, i tot u open letters for ur boss. made my blood boil, i retorted, since when i open my boss's letters? -

I think you and I are the same kind..haha..scold people regardless of their background etc..To me, I'm the impatient sort..so I tend to throw my temper when things went haywire..that was years ago la..But she is really absurb lor..I mean your sec.. -

I had one of the best birthday present ever from my colleagues...A few of my close buddies got together to take a picture and printed it on a T-shirt to give it to me....I was so proud of it!!! I wore it around the office for the rest of the day(even after my big boss hinted me not to)!!! Too bad my pic is not inside. I want to take a pic with them and go make one t-shirt myself.
they also secretly bought a cake for me, invited my gf over and sang me a birthday song!!! The next day, some of my old friends also bought me a birthday cake and I just came back from my 3rd birthday cake with my India's trip frds!!!
This year has really been good for me so far and I am thankful for it.

attitude : wow....then your bro is the 4th person I heard of who's bday falls on the same day as me. I had a frd from Uni, a colleague's son and another colleague's sister...now your bro....hv u ever met anybody whose bday falls on the same day as yours? Do u find any similarity with that person? I am actually quite different from my uni frd.
aniwaz.... if anybody here dun mind, let the rest of us know when is your bday too....so that we can celebrate online for yah....just like what bbb did for me....

when i was younger, i didnt used to know anyone wif the same bday as me.....but during uni, on the day i moved out of the hostel, then i found out my neighbour and i were born on the same day! tong nian tong yue tong ri somemore....but then i dunno her very well lah...
then sometime last yr i got to know a gal online, chat 1/2 way, exchanged messenger id, then found out we've the same bday....tat really was fate, 2 of us share quite alot in common, character quite stubborn, sometimes, we'd have exactly the same thots lor...... ; of coz there're differences, she's frenlier, more cheerful,.........
