Jealousy?

Don't know if this should be posted here, because it's not really agonizing me... but I was wondering, how would one interpret jealousy? Say... U see your good friend dancing n smooching someone else, and u feel jealous, are u:
A) Jealous that that someone else gets to pull n snog your good friend when you haven't done so.
B) Jealous that your good friend gets pulled n gets snogs when you don't.
or
C) Jealous that they are getting some action when you don't.
So whats your opinion? -

honestly though, even if there is a "soul tie" or whatever, if shes not your gf or anything, why should she discuss it with u right? n do remember that the 2 of u are just good friends. -

I think it's pretty normal to feel jealous.
But keeping it under control is of utmost importance. -

of course, a big factor in deciding how to control it is to find out from which angle the jealousy, or as someone said, envy, stems from. -
It also depends if your good friend is a guy or girl.

Jealousy - why your other gender friend is not looking you up as you maybe the closest/nearest there is. You feel left out, insecure even rage. haha..

btw, there r several more factors i haven't actually introduced into the equation yet. they would really muddy things up, but unfortuantely, can't quite be ignore either. but for now, going by the situation i've theorised so far, what would your opinions be?

You really have to ask yourself truthfully, what are your real feelings for the opposite gender friend of yours - as a good friend, a potential life partner, or a good friend but impossible potential life partner.
Your qns A,B,C have a bit of both scenarios. Your ans will varies with your stance.
