I read somewhere that love is "taking away the hugs, the physical contact, the sweet nothings you whisper to each other, etc" and you still love that person a lot.
In that case i'm sure a lot of relationships are not love-based.

love sounds deeper and like is more superficial. Perhaps he doesn't want to be interpret as " out of control" so much. could that be it?

Like can turn to love but must be mutual.
If it is one-sided, then more difficult, u have to work hard to convince her.
But if she don't even like u, then don't even try. Sure waste of time. -

There is only one world - Love or Don't. Anything that falls in between takes time to make decision before it takes side.

you may like the person at first, but after knowing you may hate that person .. not totally but certain characterisitics..but is enuff to break.
It is most important you love her/him character and it would go a long way.
Physical looks are just bonus.
To me, like is not the same to love.
