Actually, if he doesn't want to pop the question, you could.
But THEN again, if you can't bypass the psychological barrier of a girl having to jio a guy, then you can avoid taking initiative and continue leading your own life first. If he is interested, he will panic why his potential girl is not giving him his daily dose of 'TLC'. You may uncover other aspects of your situations which you never realise.

hmm...right now I am also seeing a shy guy so I can understand your frustration. Last time I used to ask him out a lot but then one day, I just stoppe ddoing it cos I was tired of being the one asking all the time. I refused to be taken for granted...so just let things cooled down for a bit. And surprisingly he started to ask me out more after dat.
so mebbe you should stop asking him out, just wait for him to miss you or something, then dun agree so easily, let him know you do have your own life to lead too, you are not someone who would drop evthing the moment he calls...

hey.. thank you so much for all the advices...
in fact, i meet up with an old frenz, and he commented that he never seem me so lost and confused before.. It's like i lose the normal self...
well.. after this, i done some reflection and realised that love can not be forced.. if the guy is interested in me, he will come after me again... meanwhile i just wanted to concentrate on my study lst.
this is going to be my last semseter of study.. therefore i would try to do well.. as for relationship, just let fate take control... what's mine will be mine...
furthermore i just stepped out of a relationship, it's not really wise to step into another so soon.. anyway.. thanks for all ya sincere advice.. they really help... :p
Now i'm feelin so much better.... knowing that beside love, there is still something for me to pursue like my studies., my families...

and now thing resume back to the same. no progress. most of the time,im the first to sms him, start conversation. he did asked me whether im free after class to have lunch or bother to ask where i'm going..
