" kind of smile, Then perhaps she does love me. You get my example?

A few things why guys would behave in a way like you've mentioned.
1) He's not attracted to you in the first place.
2) He treats you like a friend instead.
3) Fear of commitment.
4) Fear regarding relationships due to past failures.
5) Has some problems with himself or people around him unresolved and doesn't want his future partner to be dragged into the circumstance. (i.e. some sickness, or financial depression e.t.c.)
In the whole, I think FEAR is the reason for the cause. I need you to take some time off and get yourself a break for now.
