well, i guess iPod mini is out... your best bet is to get something related to his hobby since guys are practical creatures (as mentioned in previous post)... if he is sporty, then maybe a jersey from his favourite soccer team ($100+)... or the latest Gshock cockpit watch ($200+)... if he is nerdy, then maybe some PC or digital gadgets like computer games ($50 to 150), new speakers for his PC ($150+), etc... if he no hobbies, then maybe something general like clothes, backpack/pouch or electric shaver...

Valentine's day has becomed too commercialized. Basically just go out on a dinner date if your gf doesn't mind having no flowers in her hand! I'm going to give him 1 rose, & I noe this sounds stingy, but there's somethg nice behind it.
I juz thot 1 rose is somehow more innocent & sweet, like a young boy giving his young girl pal 1 flower. So I bot him his 1st rose (No girl has ever given him flowers), & was rewarded by the sweetest smilez I've seen, the warmest hugz I've ever had, & the longest kiss tt made me meltz.
So I promised him there & then, tt as long as we're together, he'll get 1 rose ev. V Day for the rest of his life.
