Can a broken heart be fixed?

Is it possible to fix a girl's broken heart? When ur the other half tells u that she no longer love you cos you broke her heart again and again. And when you realized your mistakes and tries very hard to treat her better with sincere hoping that she turn back and be with you again. But everything was just no right, she said. A broken heart is a broken heart. There's no way to revive a broken heart.
In fact her heart has turned to another guy. But she knows and appreciates what you do to keep the relationship. But she just loved the other guy and at the same time, she doesn't want to break your heart.
Is it really true that a broken cannot be fixed once its broken?

Sad to hear that there's someone out there who is in the same plight as me......I have been waiting for her in silence for more than half a years already, we have been together for 2yrs9 months and i can't seems to let her go....why?why must this kinda of thing happen to me?

At first I was wondering why bother to fix a broken heart when she has already made things clear. Thought you should give up for the sake of her happiness.
But situation is she's your wife, can be different. It is not impossible to fix a broken heart, no doubt with your sincerity, but also need to depend how determined she is, her character and how independent she is.
You may keep trying, you may want to get your parents and in-laws to help, hope to hear good news from you soon, though.
By the way, is your wife asking a divorce now? Do you have children? -

the period of time is determined by the person him/her self.other ppl can juz aid in it.
be mindful tat after u mend her broken heart.it is still as fragile and maybe even more fragile.So u must take even more care of it.shall it break again,it will shatter into even more pieces

Not affair, just have some liking for another guy. I am sure she did not do anything behind my back. Actually its partly my fault cos I neglected her for the past few months. Was busy with full-time work and part-time study. And somemore we have a daughter to take care of during the weekends. Basically no time to rest. In fact, they have liking for each another since my wife was 13 years old. Way before I knew her. Only recently, they meet often and realized that the liking for each another is still there plus the fact that I neglected her. So resulting this...

She did asked for divorce but I refused. She was also hesitating cos of our kid. And when i realized my mistakes, I changed almost completely. Btw, my description for that guy is "fuck up", hypocrite, selfish, uncivilized, etc. He kept saying that he is jealous whenever my wife goes out with me. I was thinking what the hell is he jealous abt since she's still my wife. And his "pig and dog" friends told him to chase after my wife despite that we are still married. What a friend he had. How good could he be when his friends are so fucked up to say these words...

otacon.. If you really have changed and know you won't go back to your old ways. Then I suggest you start all over again.
Take her out on dates, bring her flowers, make a special supper for just you two at home. Anything you think she would really like.
If she asks you if you want to meet the other guy again, say something like, it would hurt you to much because your still very much in love with her.
Always be nice to her and her friend no matter what.
Really prove to her that you have changed, that you love her, want your marrage to last, and your family to stay together.
