is that all? more wants?Originally posted by M©+square:The topic is the answer.......in summerised form.
Again, your post is over-generalising men in general.. Would you believe it if i tell you that there are normal heterosexual men who:Originally posted by ChristinaTeh:...MC2, you're indeed a wise one....
OKies... apart from sex,
1. no nagging
2. i can go out with my friends for a drink any time
3. i can watch football/TV all day/anytime.
4. i can tinker with my new car/Harley all day
5. no housework
5. when i get home.... well, i'll leave that out..else MC2 will tell me off again..
So the point is...everyone has their own idea of what they want. But, what's the majority?Originally posted by DriftingGuy:Again, your post is over-generalising men in general.. Would you believe it if i tell you that there are normal heterosexual men who:
2) Dont like to drink
3) Dont like to watch soccer or TV for that matter
4) Not interested in the car, treat it like a tool
... Actually Point (1) and (5) is quite valid for a lot of men, but again its not the majority
It's definitely interesting for us women to know more abt men species. Different people got their needs and wants. What's impt is to cherish the one beside you. Be happy!!!Originally posted by mistyblue:its not to satisfy the majority...
I tot the article... is quite interesting cause some guys are interested in such things when they are ready for log term relationships. But perhaps not lah... don't apply to all

BOWS DOWN IN RESPECT TO MC2.Originally posted by M©+square:Point 5. When i get home...i want you to be ready for some ahem! Well i get your point.
I suggest watching 'Something's Gotta Give' to explain what i have typed below.
I'm not wise. Just like everyone here.
However i do not disagree with those point you've mention. It's valid!
Yet couldn't quite agree that those are solely things men wants.
WE could catergorise them into many kinds of men. Traits may intermix and none could be formed as what men wants in general.
TheoryNo men will stay the same all their life. They change, for better or worse.
eg. 1 A shy and dense man suffered after a broken relationship because of certain dis-satisfation from his gf. He then realise that he shouldn't stay that way anymore. He slowly realised that there's more he could experience, started going outings and became out spoken and fun. He slowly develop confidence. He intially wanted a marriage lifestyle then changed to a comfortable companionship kind of life.
eg. 2 Fling and seducer who could have sex with almost whoever he wants. His father whom he loved most had an accident and died.
He was grieve striken by the sudden departure of his father. Went into depression until a female nurse showed him light and they got together, he changed from a seducer to a commited and stable man. They got married because he realised the meaning of living and Love.
He wanted sex and pleasure, he became a man who finally found true happiness through dealing with death.

Men could change in any if their personalities due to several reasons.
Time, relationships(friends or home or partners), surroundings, encounters, experience, enlightenment, growth, countries.
Hence the known myth of 'Leopard never changes it's spot' doesn't stand on it's own.
Back to replying your post.
Gadgets and football and soccer are topics that could drive men to stay up all night talking and watching it.
It is something about having the same lingo and easy communication.
Men does not like to try hard to explain themselves, let alone telling long stories.
Sometimes men sees communicating with their partners as stressful thing to do. Hence, they need a drink and fellowship to 'escape' from those tediousness.
Do you know it is possible for friends to sit at the same table and not talk for a full hour yet can feel good!
I'm going to give a ambiguous answer.
Men does know what he wants, but it changes... For good or worse?
Think about it.
Cheers
It is not a myth. There is truth in that saying.Originally posted by M©+square:Men could change in any if their personalities due to several reasons.

What do u define by normal? If you refer to abnormal as wierdos and freakos who are outcasts of society then you are so naive in your thinking.Originally posted by theTelepath:you call that normal?

The point is each guy is different la but we all have very simple, basic needs... No need to think so complicated about us... as for the differences in the other things thats up to you ladies to discover, isn't that part of the fun in a relationship ?![]()
Applies to Women too.Originally posted by browniebaobao:it's scary when a man changes..the change can be so much that it's so hard to accept it. For better or for worse, I would say it's situational.
