Let's say you just met a business associate. He seems to be hitting on you. Why?
He asked you to take a photo with you. And while posing for the photo, he put his arm around you, and grabbed your upper arm tightly, his other hand grabbing your hand for a "handshake".
What would you do if you were the girl?
What would you do or feel if you were the girl's bf and she didn't know what to do, so she let the guy do that, and you later came to know about this incident from your gf? -
I'd be pretty pissed. Last last week some guy tried to feel me up, and it annoyed the hell out of me.

try to turn your body or move the shoulder to shrug away the arm. then hope that he will get the hint that you are uncomfortable.

If the bf can understand what the gal is going through, i think he will empathise with her. Validate her feelings and help her through this situation and not to get angry with why she allow the other man to do this... like u said its a not so normal situation, she need to think for the best solution and she don't have time for that back then.
Since it has already happened, so its time to think to prevent it from happening. Like what others have said, use body language... else to protect herself, she will need to make it more obvious and with all other associates around, he should back off.
In order to gain something, one needs to give up some other things. -

I'm not sure if this is considered "hitting on". Arm around shoulders, handshake, all pretty acceptable for photos ?

For the guy, just be understanding that it is already the past. Teach your gf a trick or 2 to get out from such incidents. -
It is not molest. Just putting his arms round her & holding her. This happens in my previous co. The big boss very cheeko pek. He will hit on any pretty face.
Be tactful & move away after photo-taking. Avoid being alone with him, stay within the crowd. He won't try anything knowing many eyes on him. -
Some people just have that tendency to behave that way. It really can mean nothing much. Then again, I'm not in your position. If you're uncomfortable, you can either....
1. Let him know in the face.
2. Try something more 'tactical'. Like... "Hey! Look at that!" Rushes over to a friend of yours and pretend to talk about something important... After that, you either don't return for the photo shoot or you return and keep yourself a distance from him.... -
Show him a really irritating face during the photo shoot and walk away as fast as you can from him later on.
If the gf did the above actions, I believed the bf won't feel so bad towards the incident.

if its oni once i think its ok. can take it as a friendly gesture. but 2nd time i will tell the guy nicely to lay off. 3rd time i will confront him.

today almost punched a guy who kept coming onto me and my lesbian fren. some ppl just don't know how to take hints. They have to piss people off b4 they actually get the idea. I'm not sure if guys r born stupid like that or did they some how become stupid whist growing up.

my fault? blame those few persons la.
