I'm In Love with My Best Friend's Girl

A while ago, my friend and I both met the same girl. She is smart, pretty and has a great personality. But, my friend got to her before I could and now they're a couple.
I really like this girl, on the brink of just plain love, and recently, I'm beginning to get the feeling she likes me too.
She's been acting strange around me, paying more attention to me, she's staying closer to me than before and the like.
My friend and I have known each other for 4 years now, he's my best friend, and I don't want to do anything to disturb that friendship.
But, I want your advice on what I should do, pursue this girl at all costs, or just step aside and let my friend keep going along.
I see this girl throughout most of my day and usually they're together so this has been tearing me apart!
Tell me what I should do.

Don't be a hypocrite and steal your best friend's girlfriend , its not a "jun zi"
be a gentleman , let nature takes its course , don't hope for them to break up,
but , just give him good advice on how to treat his gf well , if the person you like , gets treated well , even when your not with her, you will feel good inside as well.
If you take his girlfriend , you will feel guilty inside your heart , i suggest what you can do is to get your best friend , not to do any indecent stuff with her, but to treat her well and care for her. After all , you came last ,
a best friend is hard to find , relationships comes and go , but imagine the kind of mental torment he would feel if he lose his girlfriend and HIS BEST FRIEND??
Find another girl .... don't break them apart, there's something called karma....let nature take it's course, be it breaking up or anything else...

hmm y make ur move now? do ur best and help them stay together and at least u won't have a guilty conscience if they decide to break up and u wish to pursue the gal. if not, at least u'll noe dat she'll be in gd hands. try to move on in life and not put urself into a position where ur convinced dat u'll spend the rest of ur life only wif that gal and no one else. dat wudn't be gd.

Why don't you consider having an "affair" with your best friend's girl? Haha. Anyway, I think it isn't right to go after someone who's attached, let alone that "someone" being your BEST FRIEND'S girlfriend.
It's really not right, morally. How'd you feel if your best friend snatched your gf away from you? Hmmm.. I'd like to think that you should just move on, and find another girl to be with.

We both had a talk and agreed that whoever wins the girl's heart, gets the girl...
But as long as neither are married...

It was my happiest day, We spent Valentine's day together as my best friend was having guard duty on that night. She made chocolates for me, we went for a movie, dinner and I bought her flowers. I felt we were like a real couple. How i wish! I am so touched that she's willing to spend with me although it seems like I am a "spare" tyre. that night I sent her home, she slept on my shoulder in the bus and also during the movie show. I even lent her my hands as she complained it was cold in the cinema. Am I wrong ? I try to treat her as a normal friend celebrating Valentine's day together. My best friend knew about it but he react normal and thanked me for accompany his girl.

Don't be stupid. She sounds like a little b*tch(sorry, i jus feel that she is) who's trying to break your friendship with your friend. If she likes you, she wouldn't accepted your friend in the first place. Some woman are lidat, very fond of breaking ppl's relationship. Your best friend is someone who went thru thicks and thins with you for 4 yrs. Don't let her ruin this. In fact, you should tell your friend to dump her.

i suggest you keep this to yourself.. though she likes you.. but still she's your best friend's gf.. Try to think about this.. if be cos of one girl.. your 4 years friendship with your best friend goes to waste.. is it worth?? Unless your best friend is treating her bad.. then i got nothing much to say.. But if they are good.. and goin strong.. you shouldn't try to break them up..
If this girl falls so easily with someone.. she will do the same thing back to you if you were to be together.. the cycle goes on and on..
Yes you will feel terrible and pain.. but this pain will slowly fade off if you put your concentration onto something else and not on her only!!

You should not break up a happy relationship. In fact, you should not be the third party.
Being a best friend accompanying your best friend's gf is one thing, being the 3rd party spoiling the entire the happy relationship is another. -

And if she can go out with ANOTHER guy on V Day when her bf is on guard duty, I don't she why she cannot go out with some other guys when YOU are busy, or maybe, NOT IN TOWN.
In my opinion, she's just a girl who's making use of you to spend time with. *shrugs* Or maybe she's out to sow discord between you and your best friend!
If you allow yourself to believe she likes you still, good luck. And I congratulate her for succeeding. I mean, 70% success. Haha.. the remaining 30% will have to depend on your best friend.
And you think your best friend was really cool about the whole thing? Try it if someone spent V Day with your girlfriend when you're not around! Even though the other party might be your best friend, I believe you won't feel good too. So IF you really *think* your best friend's "thank you" was heart-felt, I really pity you.
I mean, I won't thank someone who spent V day with MY girl, when I'm not around. And even if I do, it won't be from the bottom of my heart. Period.
So I think you shouldn't live in self-delusion.
