need help to let go...

hi people...
exactly 5 months ago, i broke-off with my ex... cos, i was, well, double-timing her back then.
i really feel guilty about it already, so please don't talk about what a bad guy i am cos i KNOW i am one and that's it.
anyway, i dunno whether it is guilt of is it becasue i still have feelings for her (YES, i DID love her back then), but i haven't been myself for the past 5 months.
have cried more than 15 times for her, tried to apologise and make her know that i was truly sorry... but she just doesn't want to care anymore.
I guess i deserve all of these... but it seems that i still message her every now and then even though she doesn't reply... i know she has moved on and had let go and doesn't want to have anything to do with me anymore,
but i still feel.. weird.
i know i want her to be happy and i shouldnt disturb her anymore, but i just cant seem to let go. it's retribution, i guess...
please, how do i let go?
it was only a 2 months old relationship, but... the feelings are strong... sigh... what have i done???...

At least u feel guilty. I know of some who said that he was forced to go for other girls. What is your definition of two-timing? Any intimate behaviour?

Why not go look for the girl you were with when you were two-timing your ex-girlfriend? That girl must have had something your ex-girlfriend hadn't to make you let go of the 2-month-old relationship so easily in the first place.
She should be able to make you let go again. -

I agree with Mistyblue.
Hmmm.....two months in a relationship and you embark on another? You still love her and can't let go? I don't know about that. From my own perspective, either you have to be the one who breaks up or "forbidden fruit taste sweeter". Hence, I don't know if it's about love because love is built...and over a period of time. Then it progresses to "gan ching" which is deeper than "ai ching" which is usually passion.
You may have no choice but to let go and move on. Hopefully you will learn something from this experience.

I am also trying to let go. My ex left me 3 months ago. It was a 6 years r/s. I had a talk with her last nite. She has a new guy in her life now. I can't imagine her letting go of the past 6 yrs being together and getting a new guy in such a short time.
She told me that she had totally given up all hopes in coming back to me and there is no way she is coming back.
I know its hard to let go. Same goes for me, I've cried many times over her. I've smoked and drink alot nowadays. But I've got to try to get on with my life.

I believe all of us have enough of our say of you deserving it. It will be cruel but right for all of us to sit right here and "watch" you suffer.
But I believe most of us are not such cruel person so here I have a suggestion for you. Like what you have say, stop disturbing her. Because if you dont, not only you are making life hard for her, you are also making life hard for yourself.
What shall you do then? I suggest you go and learn to be a better man so as to prepare yourself if she will to accept you again or for your next gf.

well, as i've said, i know i deserve all of whatever that is said here.. have been hearing such things for months and i'm kinda got numb to it.
i do agree with the part whereby i shld stop disturbing her and it will do both of us good.
and as someone else said, i'm also trying my best.
hope my ex will stop hating me one day. but whatever~ too late to be thinking of this.
and, regarding the part whereby i'm considered immature: well, maybe. but i know i'm better now.

Know why I putting all these hopes on you. It's ppl like you who change a gal's perspective about guys and makes them think all guys are two timers. You make that gal feel more insecure in future relationship. You make the next bf of her to pick up the pieces and patch it back. You left a scar in her heart because of your irresponsible actions. No gals should deserve all these things.
I wish all the best to your ex-gf and all the worst to you. You may hear this a million times but I just have to say it loud, YOU GOD DAMNED DESERVED ALL THIS AGONY BECAUSE YOU ARE THE CREATOR OF THIS MESS.
