I have ever asked him out before, but it seems like he's busy with his work... irregular working hours... BUT sometimes I really just thought of asking him for an answer and do not wish to continue play the guessing game. i have some more possibilities to add... on top of the attached, not interested or busy.
1. low self-esteem - dare not go after you, feel too good for him even though he likes you.
2. dont get it - some guys dont sit down and think... 'why does she sms me?' or 'why is it we can talk hours and hours?' or 'how do i feel about her?' some people are slow.
3. past experience - had similar experience in the past, mistook that the girl was interested in him and doesnt want history repeating.
suggestion - during the talk about movies or something that both of you are interested in, suggest that you go catch a movie or coffee together. then on a one-to-one interaction, you may get to see the real him.

Otherwise, find a good time and talk with him, express your feelings and hear what he has to say. Better tried than nv than regret to realise it has becums a waiting game. Guessing will oni make thinks worse cos it affect how u spk and reacts. -
I thought it would be better to have a good talk with him face to face... but will he be intimidated by my action? My fren said that in this way, I would be able to see his reaction. I agreed cos sometimes over the phone or sms, we are unable to see each other's reaction and there might be misunderstandings somewhr. I would like to settle it once and for all. This waiting game is no fun at all... pretty unbearable sometimes.

maybe you sms him first all the time and you don't give him the chance or neccessity to initiate a sms conversation with you
you might want to try abstaining for a few days. see if he misses you haha -
